Hua Thanon Temple is a very famous old temple in Sadao District. Songkhla Province The highlight of this temple is that there is a large Buddha image installed in front of the temple. The ground floor is an ordination hall for monks to perform their ecclesiastical duties and give blessings to the people who come to pay respects. Worship for good fortune in life according to belief. The temple is located next to the main road connecting Thailand and Malaysia. Therefore, both Thai and Malaysian tourists continually come to pay homage. Because of the outstanding location of the temple and the beauty of the architecture whether in the chapel or on the outskirts of this temple. Therefore, I will take everyone to see the surrounding area of Hua Thanon Temple.As we drove past this front, we could see a large white Buddha statue sitting majestically in the midst of the temple area. The base of the Buddha statue was a large lotus flower according to the religious principles that we have become accustomed to seeing. In front of it, there will be a golden Siwali statue located in the center of the temple area, and around the area there will be a statue of Luang Pu Thuat. Statue of Goddess Kuan Yin Statue of Phra Sangkhachai And there are statues of Nagas and angels. The area is not very large but the statues can be beautifully placed in various places.In addition to the beauty of the big Buddha image, beneath the Buddha image are also the relics of the Buddha which were brought from India for people to worship. During various merit-making festivals, villagers come together to make merit together in unity.
On the day we stopped by to pay homage because we were traveling back to Malaysia and this was the first time I went to pay homage and visit. And very lucky that we met the abbot. We made merit and received blessings and were sprinkled with holy water, which according to our beliefs is auspicious for life. After receiving the blessing from the abbot, I went to explore the surrounding area of this temple. On the left hand side there will be a golden pagoda that has been built in a beautiful row. The base of this pagoda will be an empty room for monks or other uses.
The statue of Lord Ganesha was built on the left-hand side in front of the chapel in a reclining posture and on the base in front there is a small rat statue as an attendant, but there are people who bring things to worship according to beliefs. If anyone wants to experience When successful, whisper in the ear of the rat statue which is believed to be an attendant of Lord Ganesha.
There is also a statue of Goddess Kuan Yin on the right side of the temple in front of the temple. And there is a large statue of Luang Pu Huat, a famous monk who is revered by many people who believe that he is a meritorious person. Even though he has long since passed away, there are still disciples who still respect him and have built it. There are many statues in many places.
