Hello friends,
It's been raining non-stop for the past two days in my area, making it difficult to head out and engage in daily cleaning activities. I was stuck at home, precisely inside my room, yesterday. Being Sunday, I couldn't go out, nor was I able to engage in my daily activities, including cleaning, because of the heavy rain.
However, today being Monday, I couldn't afford to miss cleaning, so I woke up quite early to head out since it had not started raining yet. I headed out with my cleaning tools, my trash bucket, and a disposal bag to gather litter and dispose of it properly. The streets were empty as it was still early; probably people were still in their rooms dozing off since today is a public holiday. I quickly picked up the few pieces of litter I could find and put them in my disposal bag before placing it in my trash bucket for the disposal team to take away.
I returned home to eat my breakfast of coconut rice prepared by my older sister, Jay. Afterwards, I had some rest before completing the rest of my chores, hoping to head out later in the day.
