Hello beautiful people! Welcome back to my space! Today is the first day of July 2024, and incidentally the first day of the second half of the year.
Permit me then to wish you all a Happy New month! It is my sincere prayer and wish that this new month will yield abundant results as you continue to push towards your goals.
Talking Of Goals
I have been looking back at the past six months, particularly at my Hive Journey. To be honest, I wouldn't say I achieved 100 percent of what I set out for mid year, but I am proud of myself.
Last month was actually the month I felt frustrated the most, and that is because of the injury I sustained. But that is fast healing now, as I can use my hands better now.
The activity I did most here on Hive was mostly curating and commenting on posts, and threading a few times as those activities didn't exert too much pressure on my hands.
New Plans For The New Month
This month, however, I am already looking forward to what lies ahead! And that is because I have been working on a plan to create a content calendar for myself. Yeah, it has taken longer than necessary, but at least I now have something personalised to use as my posting guide.
That doesn't mean I am totally on my own. No, not exactly! I have factored in the contests and prompts from my favourite communities into my calendar as well, and I know that will definitely be of immense help to me.
There are some of my passions that I have neglected in my content creation on Hive, but now I have decided to get them included in my works. So get ready to start seeing a lot of new things coming from me with regard to food, music and tech. That's the much I can tell you now, hehehe, but it all begins this week.
HPUD Participation And Growing My Account
One of the things that has helped my growth on Hive is participating in Hive Power Up Day. I set my intention at the beginning of the year to power up at least 20Hive on every HPUD which takes place every first day of each month.
Apart from that, I power up anytime I have some liquid Hive or some HBD which I first trade for Hive. This I do from time to time, and I am happy each time I do this.
For this month's HPUD, I have decided to power up 20Hive. This is definitely less than my target of 50Hive power up for the remaining months of the year but it is as a result of poor preparation on my own part. Now my HP has increased from 529HP to 549HP.
Powering up my liquid Hive via active participation on every Hive Power Up Day has indeed been an intentional move on my part to grow my HP. I had thought I would have moved up from the Redfish category to become a Minnow by now, but it is all good as I am getting closer and closer to achieving that.
All in all, this year has been good, with a few not so good experiences, but I have chosen to remain positive and unstoppable.
I think that I need to be more and more disciplined in my online activities, and that would require making some adjustments in my offline activities.
I also intend to educate myself more on all things Hive and crypto. There is still so much to learn, and I will take steps to learn more than what I know currently.
For now, I have to start implementing all I have planned to do from now on. Yes, that is actually where it all begins.
Thank you for patiently reading to the end. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below, and I will get back to you.
