There is a very good reason why I don't do art.
It's not for me.
Crypto, sports, computers, life are all topics that i like and know about. Art, not so much.
That's why i blame anomadsoul for making me do art today.
One great lesson that i learned from my math teachers was how to KISS. Not like that you dirty minded bastards. Anyway, it's illegal. Now the French teacher was different, she was about 30, gorgeous and that would have been a great lesson at the time. Worth it. The math teacher, not so much.

She always maintained that when you were facing a tricky problem to keep it simple.
Solve the parts that you can solve and worry about the rest later. Good advice in any walk of life to be fair.

MISSION 🎯
Draw/Design/Create an image of a Lion fighting (and winning) against a dragon.
As I've said.
Not an artist.
Can't draw.
Can barely see.
Can just about write content. Poorly most days.
Damn you anomadsoul. Making me do things.
Anyway, Since i cant draw it's up to the computer to do the heavy lifting.
Thank god for Canva. The one stop shop for all of your design needs.
Step 1:
I started by trying to find a good shape and size for my design. There are so many options for logo's and different types of pictures but by searching for nft's I was hoping to find a good base design to work with.
Step 2:
There weren't many options in the basic mode but i like the outline of this picture here.
The frame would make for a good image and the plan was to change the colors towards a more red/yellow design to match leofinance and dragons. The little alien would have to get the chop.
Overall it has a good vibe for gaming, contests, web3. All little indicators of what was going on in my head. Keep the top and bottom frame. The little speed arrows on the side that link to gaming. The neon writing is a good effect.
Step 3:
I said dragon first, lion second. In the elements section there are a lot of different types and styles of dragon but this one caught my eye straight away for it's classic gamer vibe, bright neon's and nice artwork. The plan was to swap out the alien in the first page and add a lion clashing against it.
The picture ties in nicely to the background frame with the same color scheme and gamer vibe. The only question is how to fit it in with the original design. How to tie it into the quest and make it look good.
I'll use all of my experience and artistic flair to pull the whole thing in together properly.
Step 4:
Shit happened.
I don't know how or what changed but I was trying to make the dragon fit the picture and bring it to the front when it took over the full page.
At this stage I went FUCK IT.
It would actually looks pretty cool as an nft.
Still has that classic gamer vibe and when I edited over the writing I couldn't change it then.
It looked too cool.
Sometimes you just have to roll with it and this is one of those times. Make the best of a situation and keep going.
Step 5:
Uploaded a Leofinance logo to tie it into the sight and give it a LEO vibe.
Just to make it official, you know.
And there you have it.
1 epic "Slay the Dragon" NFT. I had it as dragon tamer but changed it at the end to fit the brief a little bit better.
I know that it also said to have it fighting a lion and losing but doing anything else would ruin it.
I know that I would be happy to get this from the team as a badge but I am definitely biased in this case.
I might not get the quest points that I am looking for as I went slightly off brief but I don't care as you can control where the art takes you. 😂
