Unfortunately.
It feels like we've been consolidating for months at this stage. Months of bitcoin moving slightly up and down with no sign of a bullmarket at any stage in the near future.
On the 3rd March the price was 62k and seven months later just below 64K.
It' just a pity that i haven't been trading those margins. I'm sure that alot of people have been making a lot of money riding those small waves.
Unfortunately I'm an altcoin fan or shitcoin merchant as bitcoin maxis would call us. I'm waiting for that lovely green bull market where we see 500% gains in a week from coins that nobody has ever heard of.
For that to happen i think we need to see 100K bitcoin. Even with all the positive news and advancements we've seen this year it is going to take something more to set of that specific chain of events.
It needs hype and FOMO to really start a bull market. People afraid to miss out on life changing money so they start buying tokens like they are going out of fashion. People feeling like they can't lose as tokens go up day after day bringing in huge gains.
It's a vicious cycle as it's not sustainable. When we do finally see those gains it is only for a short time before the market and hype can't sustain the prices.
Then people get caught with their pants down. I should know. I've been caught properly once and and a bit less the second time around.
Maybe next time is the charm. All we need now is that catalyst to set everything in motion and bring people back to the table.
