Hi, I make this fanart of Lunakari Mistress, I tried to make an effect like aura,also was fun to do,I like so much her design ^^.
For this piece, I used a Genius Wizard Pen Tablet 5x4.
My drawings are entirely drawn in Paint Tool Sai because this software have the best compatibility with my tablet.
Also, I use some digital brushes like: airbrush and water brush.
First I start with a sketch, i tried to make a pose like from the side but facing the viewer.
Then, I paint each part of the character, for the eyes, hair and clothes I am using the most darker colors, and for the skin the base color.
Now, I start doing the shapes in the skin, with some zones darker and a bit clearer inside the shade,this also works fine in her ears, for the hair and clothes, I am using more clearer colors.
I use gradients over the layer of the eyes, also the details of brights in the necklace was made with more luminescent tones.
Then, I create a gradient with green tones on the background.
I make an aura effect using a layer with the draw of this forms similar to flames, and behind another layer for the luminic effects.
Finally, I use a layer with the "lumi and shade" effect, to combine the colors of my character with the background.
