Hello everyone! I hope everyone is well this week. I wish everyone good health, togetherness, and happiness. For the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 279!, I chose to share and draw the GLADIATOR CARD, WITCH OF WARWICK. To develop my concept, I found a beautiful reference of FANTASY WITCH and incorporated the WITCH OF WARWICK's lore from Splinterlands. As I'm still learning to draw, I use references for guidance. Enough storytelling, let me show you the process of drawing my version of the Witch of Warwick.

Using references, I sketched based on my concept. I added a new layer on top to fix my messy sketch using DIP PEN (Hard). I use the IBISPAINTX application for drawing. After a clean sketch, I added a gray background to check the base color. I started by coloring the skin tone, added a new layer set to multiply, and applied soft shadows. Using the lasso tool, I selected areas for dark colors, added a new layer set to color dodge, and used the airbrush for coloring.

After shading and adding light reflection to the skin tone, I began rendering. I used green for the skin tone based on the Witch of Warwick reference. Using the color pick and airbrush, I started rendering the color. Once satisfied with the skin tone, I moved on to coloring the clothing, following a similar process with the pencil (Graphite) for detailing.

The last part I colored was the hair, using a red-violet color based on the reference. I used the airbrush for soft and hard shadows, and a combination of pencil graphite and dip pen hard for strand details of hair. Normal layers for the base color, add and multiply layers for hair strands, and color rendering for final touches. For the background, I chose black and blue colors based on my reference.
That's it! I hope you like my fan art of WITCH OF WARWICK this week. Thank you for your unwavering support for my fan art here in Splinterlands. I love you all.
