Привіт! На огляді монета з серії “Обрядові свята України” під назвою “Водохреще”. Вона введена в обіг 18 грудня й присвячена одному з найбільш значущих українських свят. Монета виготовлена зі срібла 925 проби.
Виріб має розмір 38.6 мм й вагу 31.1 г. Для допису “Водохреще, срібна монета, номінал 10 гривень. Серія монет “Обрядові свята України”, 2006 рік” використано 2 світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Фактичний тираж монети досить великий й складає 10 тисяч штук. Гурт виробу рифлений.
Реверс. У лівій верхній частині викарбувана назва монети. В нижній частині зображено ополонку у вигляді хреста. Над нею відбувається молебень, що можна зрозуміти з великої кількості людей зі святковими атрибутами в руках.
Лицьова сторона. Верхню частину прикрашає Герб. На відміну від більшості сучасних монет, назва фінансового регулятора викарбувана нижче середини, а ще нижче вказано номінал й рік введення срібної монети в обіг. Зліва та справа від написів нанесено вагу й пробу золота та лого МД. Між Гербом та назвою банку зображена церковна чаша з жіночими прикрасами. По обидва боки від монети можна побачити вінки з квітів.

Greetings! On view is a coin from the series "Ritual Holidays of Ukraine" called "Vodokhreshche". It was put into circulation on December 18 and is dedicated to one of the most significant Ukrainian holidays. The coin is made of 925 silver.
The product has a size of 38.6 mm and a weight of 31.1 g. For the post "Vodokhreshche, silver coin, denomination 10 hryvnias. Series of coins "Ritual Holidays of Ukraine", 2006" used 2 photos from the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine. The actual circulation of the coin is quite large and amounts to 10,000 pieces. The band of the product is grooved.
Reverse. The name of the coin is engraved in the upper left part. In the lower part, a funnel in the form of a cross is depicted. A prayer is taking place above it, which can be understood from the large number of people with festive attributes in their hands.
Front side. The upper part is decorated with the Coat of Arms. Unlike most modern coins, the name of the financial regulator is engraved below the middle, and further below is the denomination and year of introduction of the silver coin into circulation. To the left and right of the inscriptions, the weight and assay of gold and the MD logo are applied. Between the Coat of Arms and the name of the bank is a church chalice with women's ornaments. On both sides of the coin you can see wreaths of flowers.
