Happy start of the new month in this first section of 2025.
It is a pleasure to be present in this challenge to share one story about a strong warrior in Splinterlands.
It is the restart of a new season on Splinterlands and I hope you were able to achieve many targets before the reset. Glint rewards are pouring too into the active player account on the daily basis, but even more on the season finale.
You have certainly seen Barashkukor the death elemental warrior with a huge mana and a crazy 5 points magic attack. His story in the stream of event on the Pretoria land got me curious. I start exploring his short lore presentation and the connection with factions at war in the regions.
The archfiend Barashkukor had a surprising rise through the rank as formidable warrior to finally reach the highest position as leader of a strong army of thousand Dark Ethernals.
How confident Barashkukor was to defeat his opponent and govern an immense, rich land under the dark force?
A/- Where it all started...
The archfiend community was split in the vastness of the realm, some had their village on the mountain, other close to the rivers. They lived a simple life based on what nature provided to meet their basic needs. Barashkukor grandfather was known to be the chef explorer in his camp, legend told his successful trip to map an entire quicksand territory rich in treasure. I have to mention that archfiend were not angels living in this rough condition against the element of nature such as icy stone storm or sand storm.
One generation before Barashkukor birth, the dark god Uul invaded the region and many Archfiend fled to save their way of life against the extreme madness brought by the conquering forces. Barashkukor grandfather led the resistance and lost. His entire linage was punished for this action of rebellion against the dark forces of Uul.
B/- The transformation
The legion of Chaos laid waste to the ancestral land of Barashkukor and so the native were slave under the new ruler ship of the dark god Uul.
The archfiend Barashkukor only knew battles and wars as an eternal slave to the crown. He has to show to the dark force in control that he was not good to rise an opposition against the current regime.
When his name was cited among the new officer due to promotion, a veto always rise from the secret unit of high ranking officer in the Legions of Chaos.
On the fourth time of failure, Barashkukor was the only member alive of his clan. It had to summon an ancient power from his close genetic heritage from his grandfather. He needs to demonstrate ultimate power on the battlefield to return alive from one of the deadliest campaign ever conduction against the Northern Territory.
C/- Politic tricks or Luck
The legions of demons were unsuccessful in securing the northern land to the god Uul and his generals. It was one region of intense combat, where the slaves and other political undesirable were sent for ultimate death on the battlefield. Barashkukor was never sent to fight on the northern land since his beginning in the army as an enemy spotter.
When the Governor desired to get rid of his character and what it could represent in terms of unification ideas among the resistance, an order to assign Barashkukor to the offensive force of demon to conquer the north arrived in his camp. It was the last action for either his rise or death. He knew that only the old mastery of the dark forces from his family could save him and return victorious. On the second mission he managed to take the strong hold of the enemy with green fireballs raining on his opponent and killing also his fellow warriors on the battlefield.
Officers in command suffered a terrible lost of two out of three general in a surprising assault near the northern border. If it was not for the determination of Barashkukor to abandon the front line, sacrificing 1 thousand demons to save the last General the north men would have succeeded in their mission. This action granted Barashkukor a special status and immediate promotion within the higher ranking officers.
Now in charge of the army of demons to secure the northern land in the vast territory under the control of the legions of Chaos, Barashkukor completely join forces with the ideology of the Silus of the Rift to submit all living being to the will of Uul.
D/- Tyrannic Leadership versus Hope for end of wars
The inner circle of warriors at the head of the Uul army of demons voted to add a sit in honor of the triumph and domination of Barashkukor on the battlefield.
He had now bigger plan to extend the influence of new community to the rest of the land on Pretoria. His determination has no match among the old, veteran generals in the army. It is even a subject of gossip that the growing jealous high ranking officers could plan a coup against Barashkukor and his units of unleashed demonic forces.
Is it possible that Barashkukor Grandfather memory save the land from the misery created after the awakening of his ancestral powers?
Folks living at the border of the Uul rapidly growing territory, are praying that an internal war for control erupt inside the demon army. This may be the only hope to stop the progression of the dark regime
The story came from an imaginary trail of thoughts. I put some element of the original story to keep space and location clear to not drag the story too far from the purpose of filling the gap in the main character progression to his current status in the story.
I found cool to share write this short story. In facts, I am not so great at writing, but I hope you spend a wonderful in this imaginary universe.
