I was not active on my Modern account since the season reset.
My plan two days before the end of the season was to find enough resource to buy Energy in order to rank up in my second journey on the Splinterlands game story.

It was tough to mobilize so much DEC to buy 30 Energy, considering the cost of one unit was expensive after my rank up above Diamond II on the wild entry.

It is an exceptional situation where the found after opening a reward loot chest the gift of 30 energy ready to be use at this step in the game.

Playing in the wild at the Diamond League so late in the season is the most competitive spot to rank in after the rush to enter the Champion League.

It is so fun to climb the league steps in the ranking list, and the rewards after ten consecutive battles won can pill up and motivate the winning party to keep the good entries up to the highest league you can reach.

I was ready to engage the players in the Silver league since my account was fully equip to survive the rough limitation under the Gold league.

The modern format has interesting fighters exploring the edge of the strategies enhanced under the game rulesets.

What happened in the arena was not fair, but the game rules were respected, considering the Gladius Warrior's intervention in Silver seal the fate of my opponents.

I have quickly rank up and in the process unlocked multiple additional bonuses on the way up.

When I left the Silver League, I was relieved that no more Splinter in the Silver league will get in the arena to face Max out cards ready to compete in Diamond.

The first two level in Gold were not too difficult to bag up in this intense race to victory.

It was a nice journey to the top, full of earnings and rich in strategies diversities. I would recommend to all accounts in the Modern to not leave the rank on their position dormant. It is rewarding to rent or level up two set of element warriors and climb to the highest rank towards Diamond League.

As I mentioned at the start of this tip oriented article, you should purchase your energy right after the season reset, then wait four days before the season ends to activate your journey up.

If you have enough energy, you can play in your Wild format in order to organically move your progression in the battle ranking section of the game.

It is not a guarantee that all the game you will find as you progress from the lower league to the highest league are going to be as easy as it was for me.

The luck can push this adventure as far as your selection can carry it. In case you don't win all your battle, at least your Wild format performance will add value to the effort you have done in the entire season to increase your chance to improve your win rate.

Battle On the Way Up

One interesting battle where I had the opportunity to test one of the less utilized summoner in my selection. Drath Lv2 in the arena where earthquake inflicted damage to all cards in the arena except the one under fly abilities.

It was a great battle.
