Hello my people!!!
How Una dey?... I hope this greeting meets you all well?
Before anything, how's this festive season in your area?
Una kill chicken, turkey, cow, or ram?... For my side here, everywhere stew... But if I share location, make I bend.. lol.
Compliment of the season to everyone and I pray that I'll see you all in 2024 better and stronger in Jesus name.
Once more, welcome to my blog, and I'm glad to have you around.
This is Afritunes weekly event, and it's week 95, which also happens to be the week that ends the year and ushers is into the new year.
In this week, I present to us my entry which is an indigenous song (Yoruba) dialect.
A song that talks about the birth of Jesus and the melody sorrounding the good news.
The song I have for us is titled "KERESIMESI".
KERESIMESI means Christmas and of course, Christ is the reason for the season.
If you are a Nigerian and you attended school in Nigeria, you should know this song irrespective of the tribe you belong to. This is because this song is usually done in the end of the year party where students gets to sing this song.
I hope that this song will bring out the memories of the melodies of this song from our hearts.
Kindly enjoy, thanks!
