Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. As we live life and go about our day to day activities, we get to meet different types of people, some we are compatible with and some we just cannot tolerate. Funny how everyone is bit nosy, especially when a loved one is involved, knowing their way about and how they are faring. The only time being nosy becomes an issue is when an individual does it in excess. For some people, they don't even need to know you but want to know everything that happens in your life. Nosy people monitor one's life even more than the police monitor a suspect.

Even in the life of a loved one, when we become too nosy, it is no longer caring, but instead we become a pest in their lives. A friend of mine always complains about why he hates going home during the holidays as his mom wants to know his every move; in his words, "imagine after every call my mom would ask me who I was talking to and call it care." Sometimes we get too nosy and don't even know we have crossed the line and are now like a thorn in a person's flesh.
Funny how being nosy works both ways; today being nosy is saving one from danger, and tomorrow being nosy is putting one in trouble. I have seen cases where being nosy got a person in trouble; sometimes it is a blessing and sometimes a curse; it all just depends on how nosy one is. There are people who are only nosy in matters that concern them and only nosy with those they love, and people who are nosy in anything and everything well, this is the annoying type of nosy.
One thing I know is that those who are nosy in everything and anything at all, whether it concerns them or not, cannot keep a secret; sometimes they can even use someone else's secret as a means to get what they want. They spill a person's secret so they know another person's own; it's a continuous cycle. Have you ever had a nosy neighbor before? 😂 A neighbour that lives in her house and in your house at the same time?
Sometime back we had this neighbor who made our house uncomfortable for us. As kids, our free time comes whenever mom and dad are out, but ever since she arrived, things changed. At first we were wondering if our parents had cameras hidden in the house, but she was that camera; she reports everything in detail, both bringing friends to the house and wanting to know everything that goes on in our house. At first my mom appreciated her for her good work but got tired of it when she started doing it in excess and wanting to know everything that goes on in our house.
For me, I am only nosy in matters that concern me and cannot be seen trying to know what does not really concern me, and I would really like it that way too. I hate when a person tries to invade my privacy, so I won't appreciate or tolerate any form of nosiness.
