Splinterlands is happy to announce a special event to celebrate the Bitcoin halving! The event will last for 15 days and it starts on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. Spl players will all have the chance to purchase two new limited-edition promo cards, Baron Fyatt and Henchling Enforcer, for DEC tokens or Credits. How to Earn Points
For each DEC/Credit spent purchasing the promo cards, you’ll earn points. For each 10k points you accumulate, you'll get a chance to win one of the available prizes.
For instance:
- 1 point for every DEC/Credit spent
- No points will be given for Vouchers used to gain a discount on the purchase price.
As a means to encourage early participation, Spl has announced that there will be point multipliers. On the first day of the event, players will receive a 3x multiplier for leaderboard points for the tokens they spend. The multiplier will decrease in evens every day until the last, then players will stop receiving the multipliers.

How to Win
We will have the chance to win one of the above prizes for each 10k points they accumulate from purchasing the promo cards during the event. Let's remember that there will be a 3x point multiplier on the first day of the event. For instance, purchasing one Rare promo card on the first day for 3,125 DEC will give the purchaser 9,375 points. The multiplier will decrease every day, until it reaches 1x on the last day of the event.
Prizes on the Leaderboard
We are also told that the prizes will be randomly awarded to participants, mostly those who are able to collect the most points. The leaderboard prizes are
- 1-10 - "The Burninator" Legendary Title
- 11-60 - "The Incinerator" Epic Title
- 61-200 - "The Scorcher" Rare Title

We are told that participants who make it in the top 20 leaderboard spots will get the following promo cards and the ones they purchased during the event. They will get a single card before combined to the BCX specified in the below table :
