¡Hola, amigos creativos! Hoy les quiero enseñar parte del proceso de cuando pinté un food-truck/camión de comidas con sólo un pincelito. Sip, ese mismo que ven en las fotos. Me contrataron en el año 2017 para pintar la puerta y las ventanas de este camión y los clientes deseaban mandalas, así que les propuse ese mandala colorido y otro color lila. Esto fue para época de lluvias así que me tomó 1 mes aproximadamente en completar este encargo. El camión ya venía pintado con base negra. Yo usé pintura al frío y protegí luego con barniz especial para que quedara a prueba de agua. Para aquella época a duras penas tenía un smartphone y me hice sólo un par se selfies del trabajo, sólo por diversión. Estas son las fotos del proceso que pude obtener. El boceto fue a lápiz de grafito, todo "al ojo por ciento" (ayudar a sacar las medidas con las manos es de gran ayuda cuando se pinta a gran escala). La verdad no es muy difícil hacerlo, los mandalas son diseños que todos podemos disfrutar hacer 😊 Nunca más he vuelto a pintar a tan gran escala, veremos si un día pasa de nuevo ¿A ustedes qué les parece?
Hello creative friends! Today I want to show you part of the process of when I painted a food truck with just a brush. Yup, the same one you see in the photos. I was hired in 2017 to paint the door and windows of this truck and the clients wanted mandalas, so I proposed that colorful mandala and another lilac color. This was during the rainy season so it took me approximately 1 month to complete this order. The truck was already painted with a black base. I used cold paint and then protected it with a special varnish to make it waterproof. At that time I barely had a smartphone and I only took a couple of work selfies, just for fun. These are the photos of the process that I was able to obtain. The sketch was in graphite pencil, everything "by the eye" (helping to take measurements with your hands is a great help when painting on a large scale). The truth is that it is not very difficult to do, mandalas are designs that we can all enjoy making 😊 I have never painted on such a large scale again, we will see if one day it happens again.
