Edoardo, my cat

in #hive-1967086 hours ago

Hi, Hive friends.

This is a short post just to introduce my cat to you.

I realized that I put a photo of my cat on my introduction post, but I didn't tell much about him, so, this post is dedicated to him.

Lets begin by the basic information. My cat's name is Edoardo, but we usually call him Ed. He's 3 years old, or at least that's what his vet says, 'cause when I found him he was still little but he nearly wasn't a kitten anymore.

He was very reluctant to let people to touch him at first, but little by little he started to trust in me and enden to be the kindest and most loving cat I know. Obviously, he has his lonely time when he doesn't want anyone near him, but when he's done, hes back to his loving self.

He's very lazy and likes to stay most part of the day laying in his bed, the floor, one of the couches, our beds or even on top of us, but when he's active he's very playful. His favorite toys are his ball and the stick with feathers.

He also love boxes, as every cat in the world, but when he get bored from them he just destroy them, so my mom said she doesn't want more boxes in the house.

He's a danger for earphones and any electronic thing with cables, 'cause he likes to chew on them. I have tried to make him lose that behavior, but it was just impossible, so what I did was to cover all the cables on the house with something he couldn't break with his teeth or just hide them from him.

Fun fact, he doesn't chew on electricity cables.

Well, I think it is everything for today. As I don't have more photos on this phone and I'm not in home right now, I post only two photos.

I hope you like Ed, 'cause I'm sure he will like you.

Colored black cat are very scary but at the same time, it's very cute. I hope I can pet a black cat 🐈‍⬛. Because I always have an orange cat 🐈

Black cats are the most loving and the more lovable cats. And they are very funny because they are very talkative. You talk to them and they respond meowing.

Hay @okarun ! Look what the drags in... xD

Omg, they look like siblings 😱

I had a similar skinny black cat approximately 10 years ago (around 2014) in Budapest, Hungary.

He disappeared, when we (my family and me) moved from one house from another.

Didn't you take him with you when you moved out?

We took the other cat, because we had two cats at that time (the other cat was also black, but chubby and female), and by the time we went back to the other skinny, black male cat, he disappeared

Later (shortly after moving to the other house) the female cat also disappeared.

Since then, we had only a black and white cat (in the same house), who got hit by a car.

Maybe the other, previous cats also got hit by cars.

But we do not know.

I have not had cats since then.

Nowadays I live with a female Harris's hawk.

That's sad. I would go crazy if my cat gets lost or if he does somehow. I mean, I know he will die some day, but I hope it happens many years in the future. It's also sad that you haven't had more cats? Cats are the best pets to have. My opinion, obviously.

Wait, what? Do you have a hawk as a pet? That's crazy.

Yes.

We (my Harris's hawk and me) sleep together.

My Harris's hawk is usually sleeping on me, laying down on my neck.

Months ago I posted multiple photos about this in the Feathered Friends Hive community.

That's awesome. I'll look for that post later.
