Hello friends,
Happy #FungiFriday to all of you.
Winter shrooms
Another Friday has arrived, the Fungi Friday. For today, I have prepared some photos of typical winter mushrooms from my area.
Velvet shank
This mushroom is currently growing in abundance in the grove next to my place. It grows on old stumps, trunks and places where branches have been cut. Until now, I have mostly found them close to the ground, although they can grow at heights of more than three meters, like the ones in the picture.
Jelly ear
It most often grows on dried branches on trees or cut branches on the ground. Currently there are many different shapes, colors and sizes. I liked the one in the picture below the most, which resembles a sad child with a broken toy, which is actually a velvet shank mushroom in the initial stage of development.
Oyster mushrooms
I find them in various stages of development, from the beginning to the end, and in places where I have not seen them before.
Most of these mushrooms do not mind cold weather or snow. Although this year they did not spend much time under the snow because there was almost none. A very warm and humid January with one snowy day favored the development of a large number of mushrooms.
Of course, I didn't miss visiting gremlin mushrooms during my walks, and they are still there. It seems to me that more of these mushrooms have taken over the greenery.
