Seasons greetings hivian, welcoming you all to year 2023, and wishing us all the good thing this year has to offer...
Looking forward to a even greater year.
Showing the aftermath of my okro plantation, continuous cropping is the method i adopted here, meaning even after harvesting my okro plant, I'm not abandoning the land and for now I'm going to plant again the okro
so how i do wish to achieve this?
Like i said in one of my previous posts, this particular okro is a rare specie and it will be to my advantage if i can continue with this particular seeds, so while harvesting the okro, i purposely left some unharvested, (not harvesting) just to propagate the seeds as to replant
this is how okro grows?
Okro grows through its seeds, a well propagated dried okro seeds will be the one to germinate and grows into a proper okro
Meanwhile this is not only the method of propagating okro seeds, the harvested seeds can also be sun dried for some days and then re-planted
