Como he mencionado en varias oportunidades, mi hijo Miguel estuvo varios meses de reposo por presentar una inflamación de los ganglios linfáticos a nivel del cuello. Para ese momento, la preocupación familiar fue inmensa puesto que por nuestras mentes no pasaba nada bueno. Esta situación ocurrió desde el mes de agosto 2021, enfermedad que ameritó un gran tratamiento, incluso mi hijo estuvo alejado de la actividad escolar y deportiva. Luego de varias consultas y tratamientos, poco a poco le fueron levantando, como se dice las sanciones, y en enero de 2022 inició sus clases con ciertas restricciones. La recuperación fue en ascenso, y de igual manera comenzó a cumplir algunas actividades deportivas.

As I have mentioned on several occasions, my son Miguel had to rest for several months due to an inflammation of the lymph nodes in his neck. At that time, the family concern was immense since nothing good was going through our minds. This situation occurred since August 2021, a disease that required a great deal of treatment, even my son was away from school and sports activities. After several consultations and treatments, little by little the sanctions were lifted, as they say, and in January 2022 he started his classes with certain restrictions. The recovery was increasing, and in the same way he started to do some sports activities.

Miguel inició a jugar fútbol, baloncesto, correr bicicleta; situación que nos ha dado mucha alegría porque mi hijo, lento, pero seguro, va recuperando su vida normal. Siempre que veía a Miguel, él se notaba preocupado, y en reiteradas ocasiones se tocaba la zona afectada, parecía que había quedado como una especie de trauma; sin embargo, allí estaba papá luchando con él para que se fuera olvidando de ese percance, a pesar de que aún continúa la revisión médica puesto que no se le ha concedido el alta total. Luego de su consulta médica en enero que fue satisfactoria, le tocaba revisión a finales de abril de este año, cosa que no sucedió, ya que se llevó a cabo en el mes de mayo.

Para esta consulta de mayo se le hicieron algunos exámenes, y aunque uno de los valores arrojaron de nuevo un proceso viral que estuvo por allí echando broma, el doctor indicó que no había de que alarmarse porque físicamente Miguel estaba bien. Continúa su tratamiento, pero la alegría para nosotros es que puede cumplir con todas sus actividades deportivas, solo que debe alejarse del sol entre las 11 am y 3 pm, por lo demás puede llevar su vida normal tranquilamente. Claro, las consultas continúan. Está demás decir que nuestros corazones están muy contentos, y ni se diga la emoción que embarga a Miguel.

Miguel started to play soccer, basketball and run bicycle; a situation that has given us a lot of joy because my son, slowly but surely, is recovering his normal life. Whenever I saw Miguel, he was always worried, and repeatedly touched the affected area, it seemed that he had been left with some kind of trauma; however, Dad was there fighting with him so that he would forget about that mishap, even though he is still undergoing a medical check-up since he has not been fully discharged. After his medical consultation in January, which was satisfactory, he was due for a check-up at the end of April of this year, which did not happen, since it took place in May.

For this May consultation, some tests were done, and although one of the values showed again a viral process that had been going around, the doctor indicated that there was nothing to be alarmed about because physically Miguel was fine. He continues his treatment, but the joy for us is that he can fulfill all his sports activities, only that he must stay out of the sun between 11 am and 3 pm, otherwise he can lead his normal life peacefully. Of course, the consultations continue. Needless to say that our hearts are very happy, not to mention Miguel's emotion.

Miguel a nivel escolar va muy bien, y a pesar de que estuvo viendo clases a distancia, primero por la pandemia, y luego por su enfermedad; al reincorporarse a sus actividades de forma presencial, no tuvo mayores inconvenientes, rápidamente se puso al día, tanto así que este último lapso se ha desenvuelto de una manera fabulosa, por lo que a él no le he ayudado mucho en sus tareas, claro, siempre lo superviso, pero él se encarga de hacer sus cosas, me ha dado una lección, porque creí que después de todo lo que vivió, su rendimiento podría estar por debajo del promedio; bien hijo, así se hace.

Ahora en estos días pasados luego de la consulta, en la institución educativa donde estudia Miguel, fueron unos representantes de la empresa Salta, la cual posee un parque de trampolines ubicado en el Centro Comercial Hipergalerías, aquí en Cumaná estado Sucre Venezuela. Les llevaron una invitación a los estudiantes de 4 y 5 año, los cuales podrían disfrutar de las instalaciones de forma gratuita, solo aquellos que tuvieran las medias especiales que se usan en el local. Los que no las tuvieran, debían adquirirlas a un costo de 3$ o 15.75 bolívares. Pero Miguel de pícaro solo me preguntó ¿papá tu tienes 3$?; y yo que respondo, ¿y para qué?. Bueno, porque nos invitaron en el colegio al parque de trampolines, y hay que comprar unas medias que tienen ese valor.

Miguel is doing very well at school, and although he was watching classes from a distance, first because of the pandemic, and then because of his illness, when he returned to his classroom activities, he had no major problems; when he returned to his activities in person, he had no major problems, he quickly caught up, so much so that this last term he has done fabulously, so I have not helped him much in his homework, of course, I always supervise him, but he is in charge of doing his own things, he has given me a lesson, because I thought that after everything he experienced, his performance could be below average; well son, that's how it's done.

Now in recent days after the consultation, in the educational institution where Miguel studies, were some representatives of the company Salta, which owns a trampoline park located in the Hipergalerías Shopping Center, here in Cumaná state Sucre Venezuela. They brought an invitation to the 4th and 5th grade students, who could enjoy the facilities for free, only those who had the special socks that are used in the place. Those who did not have them, had to acquire them at a cost of 3$ or 15.75 bolivars. But Miguel asked me, Dad, do you have 3$? and I answered, What for? Well, because we were invited to the trampoline park at school, and we have to buy some socks that have that value.

Ahora, con tal de verlo feliz luego de haber pasado por todos sus percances, fue complacido, por lo que junto a mi pareja fuimos con Miguel al Parque Salta para verlo disfrutar con todos sus amigos, una diversión en las alturas; siempre me.ha gustado estar presente en las aventuras de mis hijos. En la entrada tuvieron que hacer su respectiva cola para comprar las medias los que no la tenían; y allí se ve Miguel con sus medias para ponérselas. Éstas medias tienen como una especie de tacos antirresvalantes, los cuales se adhieren a la superficie, tanto de los trampolines, como del piso. El área en general es un conjunto de trampolines donde Miguel se dio vida saltando. Mientras el estuvo allí dentro, mi pareja y yo estuvimos por el lugar porque también era primera vez que lo visitábamos.

Por allí se ve ella frente a una torre plástica, la cual es una pared donde los muchachos enganchados por un arnés pueden escalarla. Por otro lado, dentro de área grande de trampolines, también está otra pared para escalar, pero esta la pueden subir sin seguridad ya que cuando suben al tope, pueden lanzarse para caer en una piscina de goma espuma. Aquí Miguel si se divirtió porque llego a la cima y desde allí se lanzó, estaba disfrutando por todo el tiempo que estuvo de reposo por el encierro de la pandemia y su enfermedad.

These socks have a kind of anti-slip studs, which adhere to the surface of both the trampolines and the floor. The area in general is a set of trampolines where Miguel jumped for life. While he was in there, my partner and I went around the place because it was also our first time visiting.

Over there you can see her in front of a plastic tower, which is a wall where the boys, hooked by a harness, can climb it. On the other hand, inside the large trampoline area, there is also another wall to climb, but this one they can climb without safety because when they get to the top, they can jump off and fall into a foam rubber pool. Here Miguel had fun because he got to the top and from there he jumped, he was enjoying all the time he was resting due to the confinement of the pandemic and his illness.

De verdad que en este parque los muchachos que asistieron disfrutaron un montón, y nosotros viendo la felicidad y la energía que mostró, y sigue mostrando mi hijo, eso aleja de mi mente todos los tragos amargos que pasamos, aun la guerra no está ganada, pero sé que con el favor de Dios saldremos victoriosos, porque Dios no abandona a las personas buenas. Pero bueno, continuamos con la alegría, porque Miguel paso a otro juego presente en las instalaciones de Salta, el cual consistía en pasar por un circuito con varios obstáculos, pero este circuito está en el aire por lo que aquí si debían colocarse un arnés, y como a este muchacho se le nota que le gusta el peligro y la aventura, no dudó en disfrutar de este juego, y allí lo ven pasando de arriba a abajo. Yo como siempre, encantado de apoyar a mis hijos, y si es de estar disfrutando su alegría con ellos, allí estará papá en todo momento. Fueron dos horas de pura emoción.

Lo cierto de todo, es que no es complacer a mis hijos solo por hacerlo, la cuestión es que ellos se han ganado todo lo que les puedo dar. Cuando hay que castigarlos, no existe duda al respecto, y cuando hay que premiarlos, también eso sucede. La alegría de mis hijos no tiene precio, y mi corazón siempre se llenará de su amor, como el de ellos se llena del mío. Que dios los bendiga siempre, y que me otorgue vida suficiente para verlos realizados. Espero que hayan disfrutado de este relato, hasta pronto. Se les quiere.

But well, we continue with the joy, because Miguel moved on to another game present in the Salta facilities, which consisted of going through a circuit with several obstacles, but this circuit is in the air so here they had to put on a harness, and as this boy is noted that he likes danger and adventure, he did not hesitate to enjoy this game, and there you see him going from top to bottom. I as always, delighted to support my children, and if it is to be enjoying their joy with them, Dad will be there at all times. It was two hours of pure emotion.

The truth of the matter is that it is not about pleasing my children just for the sake of it, the point is that they have earned everything I can give them. When they need to be punished, there is no doubt about it, and when they need to be rewarded, that happens too. My children's joy is priceless, and my heart will always be filled with their love, as theirs is filled with mine. May God bless them always, and may He grant me enough life to see them fulfilled.
