A meaningful life is highly personal and subjective. It means different things to different people, most especially, we ladies. Meaningful life to many people can be to be rich, but to me, it is feeling satisfied, contented, and happy with my life, relationships, and accomplishments.
The world expects that a meaningful life to a lady is to be married, have children and take care of her husband. I am not condemning that because in some ways, marriage is the pride of a lady, i.e a happy marriage. But beyond that, what is your goal, passion and purpose, what are the values that guide your actions and decisions?
To me, meaningful life is when i am being true to myself, embracing my uniqueness, and living authentically. I would rather make a difference in the lives of others, contribute to the greater good, and build a lasting legacy than to just follow the laid down or expected meaning of meaningful life. I want to live in harmony with my values, beliefs, and passions.
To the question of if i think i am living a meaningful life, well, i am trying to even though i am not there yet but that does not also mean i am currently living a meaningless life because there are some things that will happen in life which will be beyond your control and it is not your fault. The point is to never give up. When life or circumstances throw you down never stay down, keep pressing. Continue learning, developing, and improving yourself and your circumstances. Learn how to cope with challenges, adapt to change, and bounce back from adversity. Understand your strengths, weaknesses, values, and emotions to make informed choices. That is the beginning of a meaningful life.
Let's not forget that, a meaningful life is a personal and ongoing journey. It's essential to reflect on what matters most to you and define your own unique path. Nurturing strong, supportive connections with loved ones, community, and society.
