It was blurry, clear and blurry again. He kept on seeing her,at the end of a dark hallway. He wondered who she was, where she'd come from,why he saw her. It wasn't the tranquility of the scenery around him,or the way he felt attracted to her,drawn to her. He wasn't sure what it was. He was confused,lost. Five feet away from her and he couldn't reach her even if he tried. So he stared. He watched her move,watched her dance, watched her twirl...he watched her.
He wondered if he'd been thrown into the scene to be a by-watcher. Some sort of character development for her. Someone she met and got over, someone she met to be better, someone she met to be on top. He wondered if it was her who sparked him into existence and he was just living in her world and not his. He squinted his eyes a little more to try to get a better look from her,asides the shadowy view of her entire figure. He got a glimpse..of her. She was the most beautiful person he had ever seen. It was a clear glimpse one second then a blur the next,like it never happened. Like he never saw her.
She was dancing. She'd been dancing and he's been trying to understand what it meant. What her dance meant and why she danced. He was captivated but at the same time struck by a sense of reality. Why was he here? He had forgotten who he was. He was only aware of the change in place and knew he wasn't supposed to be here. He didn't think himself worthy to experience and view such glory. Oh,she was so beautiful. Like an angel in between heaven and hell. She was there. She was there. She was there. And he saw her.
He tried to move his legs a bit, to extend his arms more, to go closer.. but like everytime he tried,it always seems like she was drifting apart and further away. Life moves so fast,you wouldn't even see it if you kept your eyes open through it all. She was life? His life? He didn't know, couldn't remember. He was unaware of who he was. Had he died? And was sentenced to such fate after death? One he didn't mind as it wasn't as bad as he'd thought. He'd thought? He was confused. How had he thought it would be any better if he wasn't condemned to death? Was this the afterlife? Or a word in between life and death? "My name...", he whispered but no sound came out, staring at her as she raised her right leg in a 90° for a twirl. And then,she twirled,turned and spun. It was... glorious. It was like the little light he saw in the hallway were drawn to her as she twirled. Like fireflies all around her, adorning her... Like glitters from the ceiling over her.
"Take me. Let me be with you...in the light", he muttered with the lowest voice,under his breath. He thought he was being greedy and selfish. He didn't deserve to stay in the light with her. He took it back. He didn't want to be in the light anymore. He'd be satisfied were he was,just watching,staring with so much adoration in his eyes.
