Hii everyone,It's finally the weekend, I'm so glad.
I remember reading this book sometime last month, writing a review about it and sleeping with a smile on my face because it was lovely experiencing the feeling of something you experienced when you were younger. I don't know,it felt like it was part of the plot in my life because some days after that,I see a clip on Instagram of the Rodrick rules movie. I never got to watch this movie when it first aired on Disney channel. I don't remember where I was or what I was doing but I never watched it. "It is time", I said, as I quickly saved the video and also took a screenshot and added a reminder on my phone so I would watch it. It's been busy these past weeks and I haven't really been settled to watch anything that doesn't interest me two minutes in so I've been searching for peak at first sight movies. That sort of thing. The Diary of a Wimpy Kid:Rodrick Rules.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid;Rodrick rules movie is a book adaption of the same title. It revolves around Greg Heffley and his brother Rodrick and the Heffley family. Greg Heffley (Brady Noon) is still navigating the ups and downs of middle school, and his older brother Rodrick (Hunter Dillon) is still, well, being Rodrick.
The story starts with Greg's mom and Greg's dad trying to get Greg and Rodrick to bond. They're all about family time and making memories, but Greg and Rodrick are having none of it.
Rodrick is lazy, sarcastic, and always up to something mischievous. Greg, on the other hand, is just trying to survive middle school. He's dealing with bullies, crushes, and trying to fit in with his friends.
Soon enough,Greg's mom comes up with this brilliant idea (not really) to make Greg and Rodrick spend quality time together. She takes away their screens - phones, tablets, video games, the whole works - and tells them they have to find other ways to entertain themselves and bond as brothers.

Greg is horrified. Rodrick is, well, he doesn't really care. He's all about finding ways to get out of doing anything that requires actual effort. Despite their initial reluctance, Greg and Rodrick start to bond over their shared misery. They start to play pranks on each other, and even team up to take down a common enemy (aka the school's resident bully). But things take a turn when Rodrick's band, Loded Diper, starts to gain popularity. Rodrick becomes a total diva, and Greg's left to deal with the fallout.

I was screaming whilst watching this, cause I saw familiar characters from Hey Jessie and it was nostalgic. Oh my God,I felt so old seeing this. I genuinely missed it all..I missed all the Disney shows and Nickelodeon shows, but especially Disney. It's been so long. I don't know what they show there right now but it's been so long. I genuinely I enjoyed it..they nailed the book adaption. Left almost nothing untouched. It was wonderful to watch.
Thanks for reading.
