Few days ago, after the evening prayers, I sat on the keyboard seat and touched the keys without any particular song in mind. However, as I touched the keyboard, the sound produced by then keyboard brought to my consciousness a song which is titled way maker. Has this ever happened to you before? It happens to me everytime. Each time I produce a sound with any of my musical instruments such as the Violin, the flutes, the keyboard, the guitar etc, a song usually flashes on my mind. Sometimes the sounds made by birds and other natural sounds in the environment suggest songs to me.
The song way maker was written by a Nigerian gospel artist who is popularly known as #Sinach.
This song speaks about the healing power of God and how he cares and blesses his children each day, making ways for them to excel positively in life.
As this song was brought to my consciousness by the sound of the keyboard, I decided to sing it in my own way as I played the chords on the keyboard and also reflecting on certain happenstances of my life. I never thought of sharing it with you on the #hive platform until a brother came around, accompanying me with the jazz drum. As we kept playing together, I felt the need to share with you this beautiful experinece in this week 70 of #afritunes. Note that we are doing this song in our own perculier way, as we never had enough time to check the proper lyrics. However, the essence of sharing this entry with you is to let you know that inspiration could come from just anything or any step one takes in life. We must learn to pay attention to little promptings and make something worthwhile out of it.
I hope you derive some meaning spending your time with me.
Even though I did not use the exact lyrics of the song as arranged by the artist, you can find the original lyrics of this song here. You can also check the original song as performed by the original artist Sinach, using the link below.

#Leeland, an American gospel artist also did the song in a way that I cherish so much. You can watch him using the link below.
