THE GOOD AND THE BAD BOSS

A good boss and bad boss: I have had my own fair share of them all; I have worked with a good boss, also a better boss,s, and then the best boss ever. Like I said I have also had my fair share of working with a bad boss, a toxic boss, and a cruel boss all at different times and circumstances, before I go into the details I would like to say if you're working in an environment that is after your life, when I say after your life I do not mean it as you being lazy then you would say your employer is after your life, but if your employer is truly after your life please…… What? What do you want to hear 😁 lemme me continue my story jare😁

It all started during the ASUU strike when I was always at home and I was receiving queries back to back at home so I decided to go look for a job and then I landed myself a job in a nursery and primary school very far from my house and also the school my niece and nephews attended, so I took the job although the salary was outrageously small and I really needed money but I just took the job to be busy and away from the query I receive every day at home from my mother(trust mothers 😁). I took the job and started teaching Basic 2, and everything was going on smoothly; although I trusted pupils to be pupils, the ones who gave me headaches were there, and the ones who comported themselves and behaved properly were also in my class. It wasn't up to a month, and madam came and pleaded that I add basic 3 to the class I was teaching that their teacher just put to bed, I did teach the other class, but not after grumbling.

The next week, she came from nowhere and asked that I add basic 6 to the classes I was already taking; I was just boiling inside me, three classes for 10k (ten thousand nairas). Who does she take me for? I didn't say all these out loud, but I never returned to that school as a teacher; I only went back there to drop my niece and nephews. Omo no be me, this lady, go kill.

As for the best boss ever, I got employed two days after I stopped teaching at that school and I got a job at a pastry shop, where we bake cake, meat pie, chin chin etc. I started with a salary of #15,000 ( fifteen thousand naira) which of course I was made to know that with time it will increase. My boss is a lady that is so cool, a boss that cooks for her staff twice a week and we literally take pastries home every day (can your boss ever?), like she would always say “ you guys are my siblings so I admonish you to take me as your elder sister”.
We know she's cool but she made it so clear that none of her things should ever go missing or we all will see the other side of her. I worked there for just three months and my salary increased from #15,000 to #25,000

Thanks for stopping by my blog. See you soon. 🤗

peace out ✌️
