LOH #102: Coffee ☕

This week has been both fun and stressful as I've spent most of it doing projects and attending online lectures. While I do not fancy the stress, it's an excuse to drink as much coffee as I want.

My love for coffee started long ago as a child, my parents (especially my dad) can't go a day without coffee and I was always the one to prepare it for them but was “never” allowed to take it, I loved the scent and taste of it and while my parents went out or weren't present, i sneaked some into the room for myself, i did this till i was allowed to take it but while i was allowed to take it, i couldn't take it everyday because my parents did not permit me, they would always complain or frown when i take it “too much” and even when i moved in with my elder brother, he shared the same views with my parents. Whenever he goes to work, i take it to my heart’s content and recently, i found a new brand of coffee that fits my taste perfectly, from the fragrance to the taste, it's a perfect blend and it's become my favorite drink, i used to love tea as much as i love coffee but not anymore, the love i have for coffee has skyrocketed after tasting this particular product, i sometimes keep the empty pack and sniff it as the aroma is really really nice (my bad habit😅).
I love my coffee with milk most times, there are just a few times where i've taken black coffee so what i need to prepare my coffee is hot water, my coffee product, milk, a cup and spoon, after boiling the water, i put my coffee and milk into the cup, pour in hot water and stir.

Whenever I drink coffee, it lifts my spirit and makes me more efficient. Plus, I'm taking a late night coffee right now while completing my work for this week 🙃.

Perhaps your parents didn't want you to get addicted with coffee hehe and now your brother thinks the same thing. I think it is okay to drink coffee as long as it is in moderation :)

My love for coffee started when I was young too, and my parents didn't prohibit me from drinking coffee back then. The only times I stop drinking coffee was when I become pregnant. To compensate, I love passing by coffee shops just to have a dose even of that yummy coffee aroma. 😜
