Guru Josh, a figure of rave culture from the second half of the 20th century, died this Monday at the age of 51 in Ibiza, where he had lived since 1999. The cause of his death is unknown, but the press in his native Jersey said it was a "brief illness." After a success in his life, he is now in Spain where he has dedicated himself to other aspects of his art and the promotion of records and events. As a plastic artist he exhibited his works in galleries in Madrid and Barcelona. In the small parish of St.
Owen, in the northwest of England, guru Josh witnessed the beginnings of nightlife. Walden moved to London in the late 1980s and went on pub tours with the rock band Joshua Kries Wolff. Infinity was actually one of the songs from his repertoire that he eventually adapted to electronic rhythm. "We realized that dance music was the future and we applied the theme," he admitted in a 2009 interview with Temptations. "It wasn't my best song, but the singles liked it," he admitted. The son of a dentist, Walden studied dentistry in his youth.
His few but serviceable hits (Infinity, Light Years Ahead of Others, Freaky Dreamer, Holographic Dream, Who's Law (couple) and most recently This Night) have always had an impressive and compelling presence on his sax.
Fellow Crazy Mick. “The idea came to me one night while I was playing in a pub in London. Someone put something in my drink (an ecstasy pill, as Guru Josh himself told The Guardian) and it really surprised me. I started playing the key notes on the keyboard and the saxophonist guided me. "I was alone and the public was crazy." "We printed 500 copies and 480 people threw them in the bin. Everyone said, 'Put down the sax, you're crazy, you shouldn't be doing this.' But Mike Pickering [DJ at Manchester's Hacienda club] played and the rest is history," he explained to the British newspaper. Indeed, the Infinity label holds true. Guru 1990s. At the same conference, Paul Walden revealed surprising details about his colorful personal and professional career. “Before Infinity, I moved to the United States to make music, but I also made a million dollars building skyscrapers. "I tried to be a plumber before and ended up destroying the whole house."
