Every time we have a day off I do not miss the opportunity to take some supplies and go on an adventure, to some place near my city, always with the intention of leaving my city in search of a refuge for my mind, in which to charge good energy and appreciate those little things that we often overlook.
Cada vez que tenemos un día libre no pierdo la oportunidad de tomar algunos víveres y lanzarme a la aventura, hacia algún lugar en las cercanías de mi ciudad, siempre con la intensión de salir de mi ciudad en busca de un refugio para mi mente, en el cual cargar buena energía y apreciar aquellas pequeñas cosas que muchas veces dejamos pasar por alto.
That's why the #wednesdaywalk becomes one of the cutest weekly challenges out there.
Por ello el #wednesdaywalk se convierte uno de los desafíos semanales más lindos que hay.
Taking advantage of the fact that I had the day off since my wife and daughters were going to have lunch with their grandparents, I decided to load the camera and the mate equipment in the car and head out to the sierras to dedicate the day to myself and to this great hobby I have for the world of photography.
Aprovechando que tenía el día libre ya que mi esposa e hijas irían a comer con sus abuelos, me decidí a cargar la cámara y el equipo de mate en el auto y salir camino a las sierras para dedicarme el día a mi mismo y a esa gran afición que tengo por el mundo de la fotografía.
Sometimes when I go for a walk with my girls I don't have much time to be in the places I like because they need to be in constant movement, nor can I be getting the youngest one in and out of the car several times because the youngest one tends to get annoying. Today was special because I stopped everywhere I felt like and walked those trails that I wanted to walk so many times.
En ocasiones cuando salgo de paseo con mis niñas no tengo mucho tiempo para estar en los lugares que son de mi agrado por que ellas necesitan estar en constante movimiento, ni tampoco puedo estar subiendo y bajando a la más pequeña varias veces del auto porque la más pequeña suele ponerse fastidiosa. El día de hoy fue especial porque paré en cuantos lados tuve ganas y caminé esos senderos que tantas veces quise recorrer.
The first part of the ride was dedicated to walk through a more rugged landscape that crosses the middle of the mountains that is very nice to walk through. In some parts of the road the plants build a kind of natural tunnel that in some parts does not let the sun's rays pass through. There you can breathe fresh air and the plants provide a pleasant aroma of nature.
La primer parte del paseo la dediqué a pasear por un paisaje más agreste que cruza por el medio de las sierras que es muy lindo de transitar. En tramos de la carretera las plantas construyen una especie de túnel natural que por tramos no deja pasar los rayos del sol. Allí se respira aire puro y las plantas aportan un agradable aroma a naturaleza.
I stayed there for a while and then I decided to move to another sector and on the way I stopped at a striking chapel and a hermitage built on the base of one of the hills.
Allí estuve un buen tiempo y luego me decidía a desplazarme a otro sector y en el trayecto me detuve en una llamativa capilla y una ermita construida sobre la base de uno de los cerros.
After a few shots with my camera and contemplating the place, I decided to get in the car and continue my trip towards a bridge located on one of the rural roads that I always saw from the highway that for one reason or another postponed my visit to that place. Finally it was time to visit such a beautiful structure and let me tell you that the place was even more beautiful than what I could see from afar.
Después de algunos disparos con mí cámara y de contemplar unos el lugar decidí subir al auto y seguir viaje rumbo a un puente ubicado en uno de los caminos rurales que siempre veía desde la carretera que por una u otra cuestión postergaba mi visita hacia ese sitio. Por fin había llegado mi tiempo de conocer tan linda estructura y déjenme decirles que el lugar era aún más lindo de lo que se apreciaba a lo lejos.
My ride through the sierras was very relaxed, with no time to keep, and dedicated to spend the desired time in each place I went to, something that I rarely have the opportunity to do.
Mi paseo por las sierras fue muy relajado, sin tiempos que cumplir y dedicado a recorrer el tiempo deseado a cada lugar al que fui, algo que muy pocas veces tengo la oportunidad de hacer.
The only thing that hurried me was the watch, since at this time of the year it gets dark very early and the temperatures usually drop, several degrees below zero, which is a danger because of the freezing of the road.
Lo único que me apuraba era el reloj, ya que en esta época del año oscurece muy temprano y las temperaturas suelen bajar, varios grados bajo cero, lo cual es un peligro por el congelamiento de la carretera.
To avoid rushing I decided to take a walk through the old train station, now converted into a railway museum to take some pictures and visit the old iron railway bridge built more than 150 years ago that allows the railroad to cross over the Sauce Grande River.
Para no pasar apuros decidí dar un paseo por la vieja estación de trenes, convertida hoy en un museo ferroviario para tomar unas fotos y visitar el viejo puente ferroviario de hierro construido hace más de 150 años que posibilita el cruce del ferrocarril por encima del Río Sauce Grande.
This #wednesdaywalk was a wonderful day where I managed to get away from worries, responsibilities, relax and connect with myself.
Este #wednesdaywalk fue un maravilloso día en el que logré alejarme de las preocupaciones, de las responsabilidades, relajarme y conectar conmigo mismo.
