The weatherman was correct, as a series of rainy cold fronts are on their way and we were prepared.
So, our car was receiving swimming lessons again, and in here I will show you something beautiful.
Life is really simple, but men insist on making it complicated-Confucius.
So many car accidents happen when the rain starts to fall and all that it takes is a watchful eye and keeping distances from the cars ahead in order to stop on time in an emergency situation. But Confucius is correct, as then one gets slammed in the back by a moron that's in a hurry. Speeding in the rain is verboten, but people will always make life difficult.
I can find beauty when things are dark, and storms are threatening.
Come and look.
Just another quick look at another car in front of us on the road.
Now, let me show you the beauty of the cold front's advancing clouds last night.
These below are the ends of a rainbow shaped cloud, but sadly it was not a rainbow.
I think that you will agree that the cloud had a rainbow curve.
And here below are three pictures that I took at a later stage.
Now to come back to the roads, I liked how the roads mirrored the wet conditions.
Normally one can see mountains in the skyline at the end of this road, but not today.
We had a charity meeting early this morning, and it seems that @papilloncharity will soon also be active again in the Overberg. We are busy gearing up for Mandela day that falls on the 18th of July, for those that don't know, Mandela day is a day that is set aside to help others in need. All charities and individual people are active on this day to help the poor in memory of Nelson Mandela. Let's hope that we can gather enough food stocks to help many poor people. The winter cold has started setting in, and it is difficult for people to get along and to sleep with empty stomachs. We are also especially concerned about the children and the old people. Rain is much needed in our country, and although it makes things difficult, we have a dire need for the dams to be filled. Sadly, it also brings along its floods, but such is life. The good and the bad go together.
I hope that you have enjoyed the pictures and the story.
And That's All Friends.
