Some random mountain photos to show you our part of the world.
Yep! We were grabbed by the sights and maybe it will do the same for you.
It is the early days now of winter here in South Africa and a few times before I have said that each season has its own beauty. I think of spring with all of its fresh new growth, summer with its hot sun and white sandy beaches, autumn with its multitude of rich colors, and winter with its stark nakedness.
Apart from the beauty the seasons also have the special duty to create the vitalization of the planet and they work hand in hand in their set sequences to perform the overall successful regeneration of nature.
Some birdies took an early morning spin.
This was the view that grabbed me when we took off from our house. Luckily we have open spaces on the road and I stopped to get this.
We had to meet a guy here at the wine estate, as it is the locals favorite outdoor meeting place. Nothing better than a big cup of hot coffee in the open air on a cool morning.
On our way out I took a walk in the grape vine lane to get this closer shot of the mountain.
What can I say? This was taken on our way and the clouds tried to smother the mountain.
These two from the Egret cricket club, arrived way too early for the net practicing session.
And this was my final shot before we arrived at a non profit charity.
Later in the day, the sun painted a darker blue color to the sky, and it was beautiful to see.
Soft white clouds that make a gentle bed for my thoughts and dreams.
This is one of those days when I go through, what I call, my deep thought phases. It has always surprised me at the things that I come up with after a day like this. In fact, the Papillon Foundation was born in 2001 after I had a session like this and thus far it has helped hundreds of people of all colors. One has to realize though that all thoughts should not be clothed in action and I had to have a few failures that taught me this lesson.
There are no limits and it was proven over and over when some skint guy, or women started a multimillion organization at their home. Or in their garage. So, if you have a dream and you work very hard at it, I mean at it day and night, then you might be shocked at what you could accomplish. My dreams are always based on the ideas of helping others and I can tell you that I have a few that seem impossible at this stage. But one never knows!
**So, tell me what your dream is? **
I hope that you have enjoyed the photos and the story.
