It could be , but I prefer to see it as meaning that we were set set free by God from a very toxic 3 year situation 😊

So cool that we are amazed now in every new day and the plan is to get some nice bell flower plants for this small garden to attract the sunbirds. I hear them and we are very close to the river so it will be easy to draw them.

Our day was also warm and it stays cold at night and glad to see that you had a good day.
I got this on a quick visit to the mountains today.

Slowly and surely the new chapter in our lives are beginning my friend and we can only pray, as it is not in our hands. New and exiting things are already starting to happen as this morning at 5am there was a big commotion outside our house. I got up to go and look where the noise was coming from and can you believe that a main water feed pipe burst on the sidewalk right in front of our house.
Within an hour a team from the water works arrived and they spent the day here digging down and replacing the pipe.
So not only have we started a new chapter, now we also have a new water pipe 🤣

Thank you and not yet, as we first have to get the house sorted out. Then it will be the garden's turn my friend 😉

Hahaha, I wish it was as then it will really be cool 😊

That must have been really exciting to see that much water splashing - it must have looked like in the movies when they hot a hydrant with the car 😀

Of course you need your time to settle down and sort everything out, but I am sure you already know what you want to do with the garden 😉

Spraying as high as the telephone cables on the street poles my friend. All from the front of our new house 😮

You know me well and yes, we have some ideas about the garden, but first we have some other priorities here. The electricians were here today, sent by the agents of the ex-owners to check and repair a list of faults, as we are waiting for the electrical clearance certificate. The boss man said that we will get the certificate tomorrow from the agents. Luckily the ex owners paid for the work and certificate.
We had to do the same at our old house 😊

I have never bought nor sold a house, so I can't tell you what we here would have to do, but such a certificate sounds like a good thing and it's certainly good to know that everything is fine with the electrical installations.

Hahaha, too many people were running around panicking and the the water works team arrived in two trucks with about 1o guys to dig down to the leak.
I went outside to take a photo of the repair work.

The white part at the top is our front wall.

We had to get 4 home inspection certificates for our old home before we could sell the house.
An electrical certificate, plumbing certificate, gas certificate and a beetle certificate.
Of course we had to pay for the 4 inspections and the repairs and also for each certificate.
But yes, it is a good thing as then the new owner knows that everything is correct according to the laws that are in place.

Over here in the new house we are waiting for one outstanding plumbing certificate as there are water pipe leaks inside the house that must be repaired first, before a certificate is issued.
I am not allowed to fix them, as the previous owner has to pay for the repairs and the certificate.
Only then after we have all of the certificates will the house be transferred into our name as the new owners.

That's quite close to your house and in Summer you could have taken a cool and free shower 😂 !LOLZ

When my wife and her sister sold their parent's house they didn't do any repairs. I think they needed a certificate for the house that's called "Energieausweis" ... The energy certificate is a document intended to provide data on the energy efficiency and the energy costs incurred in a building.

So I think having the 4 certificates that you have is much better.

Not yet, as we are new here in the neighborhood, so some of the ladies might fain if they see me naked and showering out in the road 😁 !LOLZ
Once they get to know me, then they will pay me to outside naked 😜

Yes, I also think so, as then the new owner will know that everything is in order with 4 legal certificates as evidence.. This particular buyer also asked for an assurance that all of the inner doors must have door locks and keys. Strange but true and when we bought the pace only the front and back doors had keys.
So I had to go and buy 4 new locks and keys for the 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom doors. I didn't even charge him for the installations.
