The cursed witch

Once upon a time, in a small village nestled deep in the woods, there lived a young woman named Eliza. Eliza was born with an unusual gift; she possessed the power to see into the future. As a child, she would have visions of events that would come to pass, and as she grew older, her abilities only became stronger.

Eliza's parents were terrified of her powers and sought to rid her of them, but no matter what they did, her gift remained. As she grew older, the villagers began to fear her too, and they started to spread rumors about her, calling her a witch and accusing her of using her powers for evil.

Eliza became an outcast in the village, shunned by everyone she knew, and eventually, she became bitter and resentful towards those who had once been her friends and neighbors.

One day, as she was walking through the woods, she stumbled upon an ancient book of spells. The book promised to grant her great power and to make her invincible, and without hesitation, Eliza began to study its pages.

Day and night, she pored over the book, learning new spells and incantations until she had become one of the most powerful witches in the land. However, the power came at a great cost, and with each spell she cast, Eliza's soul became darker and more twisted.

The villagers soon began to notice strange things happening in the woods. Trees would come alive and attack them, and animals would turn on their owners without warning. They quickly realized that Eliza was behind these strange occurrences and banded together to put an end to her reign of terror.

But Eliza was ready for them. With her newfound powers, she was able to defeat the villagers and place a curse upon them, condemning them to an eternity of suffering and misery.

However, the curse had a terrible backlash. Eliza's powers were so great that they turned against her, and she was cursed to wander the earth for all eternity, forever alone and forever cursed.

Years passed, and the villagers forgot about Eliza and the curse she had placed upon them. But every now and then, on a dark and stormy night, they would hear the sound of cackling laughter echoing through the woods and know that Eliza was still out there, somewhere, waiting to strike again.

And so, the cursed witch became a legend, a warning to all those who dared to meddle with the powers of darkness. Her story lived on for generations, reminding the people of the dangers of magic and the terrible consequences that can come from abusing its power

Good story but after reading pagan books I no longer believe that magic is bad. Just those who use it for the wrong reason. One main tenant behind magic is that you can not mess with freewill. Another is, if you cause harm it will return to you threefold.

Magic is all around and all one has to do to find it is to focus on the moment. It truly is a beautiful thing.
