When it comes to medicinal tea, I believe that it is a type of tea that is made from the leaves and roots of plants other than the traditional tea plant.

Medicinal tea has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to promote health, wellness and relaxation. Medicinall tea can be consumed hot or cold , but I would pefer it hot. It could also be sweetened or unsweetened (using honey), and it can be enjoyed on their own or blended with other herbs and spices.

Since medicinal teas are beneficial, it is essential to firat of all consult with a health care professional before using any herbal remedies especially if you have underlying health conditions or allergies.

Secondly,, Follow proper preparation and close instructions before preparing such medicinal tea. You also need to be aware of potential interactions of component key ingredients with medications or other health conditions.

Medicinal tea can be categorized into several types based on rheir functionality. Some of which include;

#1. Digestive teas

We have peppermint, ginger, and vinegar tea, these can aid digestion, relieve nausea, and soothe stomach issues.

#2. Women's health tea

These include raspberry, leaf tea, red clover tea, and neem leaf tea. They help with menstrual health, fertility and menopause symptoms especially when taken the right way.

Now I want to share a soothing cup of medicinal tea recipe that anyone can take apart from pregnant women. This tea combines the goodness of herbs to promote overall well-being. The Ingredients are;

  1. Fresh Neem 🌿 leaf
  2. Lemon grass leaf.
  3. Dried ginger root.
  4. Fesh cloves.
  5. Honey(optional) about 1-2 tea spoons.

Now rhe instructions

First combine the dried herbs and leaves in a small bowl. Then .pour boiling water over the herbs in a tea pot or a heat- resistant cup.

Next, stir the mixture for about 5- 7 minutes depending on your desired strength. Then strain the tea into a cup using a tea infuser or a piece of cotton cloth. Then add honey to taste, if desired.

Benefits

The ginger is there to soothe digestive issues, reduce inflammation and stop nausea. The neem leaf aids digestion , relieves nausea and headaches.

Precautions

I personally advise that before taking any herbal medicine that you consult with a health care professional. Doing so would be helpful in knowing if these herbal remedies can affect health, especially if you have underlying health conditions or allergies.

Secondly, pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid using certain herbs, consult with a health care professiona before consuming any herbal medicinal drink

This your recipe is quite good. I have heard about the benefits from those who drink it that are close to me.

I don't really take herbal stuff except to cure an ailment. After that I am done.

Thank you very much
