In the book Proverbs of the sacred scriptures we find different topics to put into Practice, in this case I share with you some verses where we are taught that by honoring God with our resources and giving the best of what we have, we will experience the provision and blessing of God in our lives. It is a call to live with generosity, gratitude and faith. The text says like this:
Honor Jehovah with your possessions,And with the firstfruits of all your fruits; And your barns will be filled with abundance, And your winepresses will overflow with new wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10
Honor Jehovah with your possessions
The idea of honoring God means recognizing his importance and giving him the respect and reverence he deserves. This honor is manifested in concrete actions, not just words or feelings.
With your assets:
This suggests that part of respect and devotion to God involves how we manage our material resources. Assets refer to all the possessions and resources one possesses.
And with the first fruits of all your fruits
In ancient Hebrew culture, firstfruits were the first and best parts of the harvest that were offered to God as an act of recognition and gratitude. Firstfruits symbolize the first and the best you have.
All your fruits:
It is not limited to a single type of product, but to all aspects of a person's productive life, including work, income, and any other form of increase or blessing.
And your barns will be filled with abundance:
Full barns represents a material blessing, suggesting that if one honors God with one's possessions, God will provide abundantly. Full barns symbolize a prosperous life without lack of basic needs.
And your winepresses will overflow with wine:
Wine presses are the containers where grape juice is collected and processed to make wine.
They will overflow with wine: Indicates an abundance of wine, which in biblical culture is a symbol of joy, celebration and prosperity. Having overflowing winepresses suggests a life full of joy and blessings.
How do we put all this into practice?
Generosity and Gratitude: This passage encourages believers to be generous and give gratefully to God as a way of honoring Him. It is not only about giving out of obligation, but about doing it with a grateful heart, recognizing that everything one has comes from God.
Trust in divine provision: By honoring God with our possessions, we express a trust that He will provide and care for our needs. It is an act of faith and dependence on the generosity and faithfulness of God.
Priorities: Putting God first in managing our resources is a sign that our priorities are in order. By giving the firstfruits, we show that we recognize God as the owner and provider of everything we have.

En el libro Proverbios de las sagradas escrituras encontramos diferentes temas para poner en Práctica, en este caso les comparto unos versículos donde se nos enseña que al honrar a Dios con nuestros recursos y dar lo mejor de lo que tenemos, experimentaremos la provisión y bendición de Dios en nuestras vidas. Es una llamada a vivir con generosidad, gratitud y fe. El texto dice así :
Honra a Jehová con tus bienes,Y con las primicias de todos tus frutos; Y serán llenos tus graneros con abundancia, Y tus lagares rebosarán de mosto.

Honra a Jehová con tus bienes
La idea de honrar a Dios significa reconocer su importancia y darle el respeto y la reverencia que merece. Este honor se manifiesta en acciones concretas, no solo en palabras o sentimientos.
Con tus bienes:
Esto sugiere que parte del respeto y la devoción a Dios implica cómo manejamos nuestros recursos materiales. Los bienes se refieren a todas las posesiones y recursos que uno posee.
Y con las primicias de todos tus frutos
En la cultura hebrea antigua, las primicias eran las primeras y mejores partes de la cosecha que se ofrecían a Dios como un acto de reconocimiento y gratitud. Las primicias simbolizan lo primero y lo mejor que se tiene.
Todos tus frutos:
No se limita a un solo tipo de producto, sino a todos los aspectos de la vida productiva de una persona, incluyendo el trabajo, los ingresos y cualquier otra forma de aumento o bendición.
Y serán llenos tus graneros con abundancia:
Graneros llenos representa una bendición material, sugiriendo que si uno honra a Dios con sus bienes, Dios proveerá en abundancia. Los graneros llenos simbolizan una vida próspera y sin falta de necesidades básicas.
Y tus lagares rebosarán de mosto:
Lagares son los recipientes donde se recoge y se procesa el jugo de uva para hacer vino.
Rebosarán de mosto:Indica una abundancia de vino, que en la cultura bíblica es símbolo de alegría, celebración y prosperidad. Tener lagares rebosantes sugiere una vida llena de alegría y bendiciones.
Cómo ponemos en práctica todo esto?
Generosidad y gratitud:Este pasaje anima a los creyentes a ser generosos y a dar con gratitud a Dios como una forma de honrarlo. No solo se trata de dar por obligación, sino de hacerlo con un corazón agradecido, reconociendo que todo lo que uno tiene viene de Dios.
Confianza en la provisión divina: Al honrar a Dios con nuestras posesiones, se expresa una confianza en que Él proveerá y cuidará de nuestras necesidades. Es un acto de fe y dependencia en la generosidad y fidelidad de Dios.
Prioridades:Poner a Dios primero en la gestión de nuestros recursos es una señal de que nuestras prioridades están en orden. Al dar las primicias, demostramos que reconocemos a Dios como el dueño y proveedor de todo lo que tenemos.
