X formerly known as Twitter is a social media platform that took me quite some time to understand unlike others like Facebook, Instagram, and so on that was just so easy for me to understand. I registered on the platform but I didn't know how to navigate it, so I just left it without logging in for almost a year. A friend of mine who is on almost all the social platforms I know of and some I haven't even heard their names before had to encourage me to use it that it's just as easy as any other social media platform. I started logging in every day hoping to understand how it works which when finally did, got my attention and I don't fail to log in when I have the opportunity to.
One of the reasons it got my attention is that it updates what's happening all over the world in real time and is a number one source for breaking and trending news. When I am looking for what's new and trending, X is always my go-to platform. There's always an opportunity to discuss trending events happening around the world which can expand one's knowledge and air one's viewpoint about trending issues while discussing with other users.
There are also communities where people of like mind can share ideas and discuss topics, uplift each other, and even share jokes. Being part of a community gives that sense of belonging. In a day I can discuss and talk about various topics ranging from education, and political issues down to entertainment with different people from various parts of the world. Engaging in discussions and observing other viewpoints which in turn broadens my knowledge. When I just want to laugh and have fun too, I always log in to this platform for various savage replies and comments from people regarding different trending news or issues.
This social platform can also give one direct access to public figures and celebrities to have conversations that you may not have anywhere else. Though it also has its challenges like other platforms ranging from wrong news, online trolls, and bullies it has so many positive outcomes like other social media platforms if used cautiously and respect other people's opinion. All social media platform has it's advantages and I don't think one is better than the other. As I got to learn how to navigate this social platform, I loved it so much because it changed how I interacted and viewed the world. There's room for open discussions and various ways to learn, engage, connect, and air your views respectfully.
I know some people still find it hard to navigate this social platform like I first did, you may want to consider learning it slowly and utilizing it properly so that you'll enjoy news, vibrant opinions, and engaging conversations that will leave you well informed. I love the experience I get from the X platform daily and enjoy it every step of the way.
