Caturday. Yes, it's Saturday, and it's cat day, although it's not the usual thing in my activity log, but sometimes it makes me want to make some small changes in my everyday #life. Today I worked a little, I answered things in email and on the blogs that I have running, plus we cooked early at home and everything was, in general, quite calm.
Seeing that, it's understandable that I decided to make my log for the day a little different from usual, you know, to have some change in things. Anyway, today I decided not to focus on the historical anniversaries for the day, but rather I remembered that it was a day of the week when #cat fans celebrated their #pets.

Caturday. Sí, es sábado y es día de gatos, aunque o es lo usual en mi registro de actividades, pero en ocasiones dan ganas de hacer algunos pequeños cambios en la #vida cotidiana. Hoy trabajé un poco, respondí cosas en el correo y en los blogs que tengo funcionando, además de que cocinamos temprano en casa y todo fue, en general, bastante tranquilo.

The text I gave to the App was: “Cute relaxed cat, kimono, cartoon style, vector art, insanely detailed, elaborate, wide angle, masterpiece”. So my idea was to see the cat in a Japanese outfit, relaxing and having tea... But, the result is not something I expected.
The generated image is nice, and looks good, but it has a couple of problems that caught my attention. You see, recently I had read some criticism against the use of AI because racist biases had been detected... I wasn't sure how to take that, but the image I have now makes me think that they may be somewhat right.

Mi gata es de pelaje oscuro, a rayas atigradas, pero la ilustración generada por la App es con un gato blanco, de hecho, es una de las variaciones que generé, así que no era la única imagen que saqué con la App, pero resulta que las demás imágenes tampoco ayudaban mucho, porque no se parecían tampoco a mi gata.
No creo que tenga que tomarme muy en serio el tema del color de pelaje de la mascota como un asunto de racismo entre humanos, pero no pude dejar de acordarme de esa discusión en lo que vi que mi gata atigrada era representada como una gata blanca.
