Hello Hivers, a special greeting from the "Cinnamon Cup Coffee" community today I want to share with you a coffee afternoon with my kids. My daughter Isabella and Fabian love oatmeal, so I prepared an oatmeal with coffee and chocolate topping. Today is a sunny day to enjoy the warm weather.
In the middle of my afternoon activities, while I go on with my work, I take a break, to connect with my children.
I will tell you briefly how I prepare it this coffee with oatmeal:
Ingredients:
- ½ cup of oatmeal
- ½ cup of coffee (already prepared)
- ½ cup of liquid milk
- Sugar to taste
Method of preparation:
Place the milk, coffee and oatmeal in a pot over medium heat, let it boil, add sugar to taste, and then take it to the blender. It will be thick and taste great.
I decorate it with chocolate topping to add flavor. It is a hot coffee, served at the temperature coming out of the blender. And the topping was cold from the fridge and with the heat of the drink it softened.
And that's how we sat down to enjoy a delicious snack and share. This cup of coffee with oatmeal, with a thick consistency I enjoyed it, spoonful by spoonful, slowly to taste the combination of coffee, oatmeal, which is sweetened, has a creaminess that you do not want to stop feeling, the idea was not just to eat it and that's it, it was very nice to hold each spoonful for a while and savor it.
A sweet snack besides giving us energy, allows me to pamper my children. They loved it, and they wanted to eat more...
Fabian told me about the Spiderman movie and we talked about each other's favorite parts. Isabella also told us about her favorite scene in the movie and also shared with me about her experiences at the chess camp.
That's how a cup of oatmeal coffee brings us together and allows us to have a good time together.
That is the wonder and blessing of coffee in our lives.
The important thing is not to share this recipe, the important thing was the moment that coffee allowed it to happen.
