World friendship games

The plans for Russia’s own Olympic Games are not new. The World Friendship Games as they were named were originally scheduled for September of this year. But they were postponed to 2025 or 2026. The games would be held in Jekaterinenburg and Moscow.

But today Vladimir Putin announced that the plans are put into the freezer indefinitely.
The reason can be sought into the International Olympic Committee that put pressure on countries not to attend the games and even threatened with exclusion from the real Olympic Games.

This scared a lot of countries and made the games almost only a Russian thing…
