Not so bad

The usual, I could not find something to watch so landed on an oldie which I have avoided.

Tokyo Ghoul is definitely a good classic with a solid story, except for when they lost the plot in Season 2.

The story follow Ken Kaneki the ultimate hero ... villainous hero, yeah. The poor unsuspecting dude gets turned into a Ghoul - basically someone who eats people.

From there it is pretty much downhill for the dude.

He goes through a pretty rough transformation from finding out he has become a monster to really warming up to the fact that he now is a monster.

Then Season 2 comes and you think, cool tis must be done now, seeing as he has pretty much reached the ultimate... Then you start Season 3 and realise that Season 2 was not even cannon and you are all the back to the end of Season 1.

So that is something to keep in mind if you are going to watch them in "order".

Other than that I think the power system is very much akin to something like Bleach so there is not much unique about it except for the very good progression of the story.

Definitely worth a watch.

Hmmm. Season 3 goes back to the ending of season 1 or the starting?

I feel many stories are similar, it's their unque progression that makes them unique

Season 2 is not cannon so you just remove season 2 and then it is S1, S3 which is the same as the manga. Yeah most stories are the same, I guess no different from people :P

, I guess no different from people :P

Sar casm 😂.

Everything is just same. !LOLZ. The older I am getting, the more similarities I am observing in the behaviors of people, in trends of fashion, in incidents of history. It's like just the faces change
