On December 24, 2024 I decided to track #DOGE and #HBAR to see which would reach one dollar US first. Lets take a look at a recent chart.

In the last month there has not been a major change. You may review the start of our race at the following destination.

At this time...
For the record, #doge is at 0.3379 USD and #hbar is at 0.275 USD

In the last month, DOGE change -17% and HBAR -10%

Not bad considering the recent volatility since #BTC was at an all time high. I still believe that HBAR will win the race but is it a fair comparisons? After all, DOGE is a #MEME coin where value is purely speculative depending on the emotional feelings of traders. Whereas, HBAR is a technology play with significant backing from technology companies like Google and Microsoft.

OK, your turn. Tell me which will be the winner of this race. Also, do share a coin that you are actively following so I can take a closer look at it.

Interesting analysis.
It's true that DOGE and HBAR are fundamentally different in terms of purpose and backing, which makes the comparison a bit tricky but fun nonetheless.
Personally, I think HBAR has a stronger long-term potential due to its utility and partnerships, but DOGE unpredictability can't be ignored either.

As for a coin I'm following, I've been keeping an eye on SOL lately.
Its ecosystem growth and speed are pretty impressive, though it's had its share of challenges.
Would love to hear your thoughts on it if you've been tracking it too.

yeah, comparing two diametrically opposed coins is the #FUN part for sure. The race started with both trading at about the same price and represent two different aspect of valuation. One mostly influenced by, well influencers (emotional value) and the other based on fundamentals of an evolving blockchain technology.

I am aware of SOL and I will make time to look at it a little closer and report on my findings.
