The thought of this idea started moar as a joke. How could memes possibly power such a thing?
A coin / token of the memers, by the memers, for the memers!
Enter the threads leaderboard. Posting and voting moar on blockchain posts potentially leading to moar rewards. All the while getting more exposure and well known. While at a positive as opposed to a negative cost as well. Some things are amazing. Using the pepetoken tag $PEPE tokens are further distriuted far and wide all around the Hive blockchain universe.
Some months ago a token came about known as Pepe. This was after the moar popular one. With a few early supporters the token started to be distributed in a small part of the blockchain. Now it is being distributed from a reward pool where they may swim for years to come. Every few blocks moar $PEPE tokens jump into the reward pool and find their way into blockchain accounts. This happens after others with staked tokens upvote posts with tags accepting tokens from the pool of rewards. Then they move to markets where other blockchain accounts can choose to have moar or less by buying, or selling tokens.
Part of the idea changed from having extra change of tokens on hand to sell to raise funds to burning most of the excess tokens. Now this @pepetoken account is earning tokens from the reward pool like all the other blockchain accounts. Moar may be optionally issued if a buyer comes along. This to keep supply and demand in fair balance. Although the market ultimately decides. Still working towards selling enough tokens to activate the delegation token feature and open the $HIVE and $PEPE (swimming) pool! While on the lookout for a tipping bot, and not a bot that is tipping over.
You may find this blockchain account moar active on the threads since the introduction of the leaderboard over there which caused this little frog blockchain account to have greater interest upon finding itself ranked third out of way many moar! The Pepe Token Community has places on two front ends of LeoFinance and PeakD. With a couple dozen members join. Many moar simply use some pepetoken tag and earn some $PEPE tokens for doing so.
May explore idea of having some sort of Pepe / Thread avatar (rewards) for blockchain account / users in the community. May seek out some artist or play with some AI to create something soon around this new budding idea.
Some part of rewards will be used for management someday, getting back some tokens, additional token features, and whatever else may be needed to best help ensure the success of the token. meanwhile this blockchain account may be sharing memes to pay for the bills, or just to have fun. Maybe some moar tokens may get distributed too if anyone likes them enough to vote on them.
