Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!
It's been a while since I made a Season Report post. Life got in the way and honestly there wasn't much to report in, same old, same old - season in, season out.
But this is a season to remember! This was the last season with current Ranking system and I had to make a permanent reminder of it. If you're wondering what new Ranking system I'm talking about, check out this 👉 post 👈
That is not the only reason for writing this post - there was also a couple of great things that happened to me this season.
On February 23rd the first Rebellion conflict ended and all the players who participated had a chance to receive the first Rebellion airdrop card - Rage! My contribution was modest, I contributed enough for one card, as every 200 chances guaranteed one card. But, for the first time since airdrops started, I got an extra card!
After the initial excitement, I started following the market which got flooded with cheaper copies, and I managed to snatch up 4 more copies relatively cheaply - enough to level up my Rage to level 3. 😍
I was no where near the leaders, as you can see from the leaderboard, but I'm more then happy with the result.
In case you missed the news about Conflicts and new airdrop, you can read everything in this 👉 post. 👈
The other great thing that happened was me finishing in the leaderboard, last season of leaderboards as we know it. It really went out with a bang!
I focused mostly on the Wild league, and it almost payed off. One great run day before the end of season put me in the Top 10. Then I had to do a couple more battles on the last day to settle in, because everyone wanted in.
But within the last hour I got pushed out of Top 10, and when I tried to get back in I lost one battle, 35 rating went to drain and I lost 10 places. I tried a few more battles and then gave up.
I ended up in 17th place securing a 10,000 DEC reward. If I managed to stay in Top 10 I would've gotten 20,000 DEC and that would cover all of my rental costs and leave me some spare DEC to spend.
Starting this new Season 130, leaderboards are gone (except the ultimate one - Champion), so this was literally my last chance of getting this kind of reward.
Somewhere during this season I managed to reach the 40k staked SPS and I'm getting close to 50k milestone. And when I think back a few months how that seemed so far away...
The USD value of my SPS portfolio broke the 1k USD barrier, mostly thanks to SPS price going up lately (finally!) - as it is at $0.0275 currently. $0.1 here we come!
My goal is to keep staking all the SPS I get until I have 100k Staked SPS one day. With new ranked system I will need as much as possible, to keep earning reward shares at the pace I'm doing now. 😎
Now let's see how this season looked like in numbers.
I finished the season with awesome win rate of 79% and earned 96 Gold season chests, together with another 210 Golden daily focus chests (which makes it an average of 14.0 chests per day).
Renting SPS regularly kept my RShares high, combined with high win-rate resulted in this high chest numbers. We yet have to see if it payed off, but more on that later.
Renting those awesome Untamed and older cards resulted in great performance (as it should), but still have to get better EOS to have any extra profit, or I have to optimize the rentals.
The SPS chart below shows how the big of a difference are SPS rewards from battles and the Daily Focus chest rewards (with a few rare exceptions). Only big spike in chest rewards is the one from the EOS chests.
The rating chart below shows my rapid climb in Wild league towards Leaderboard rating during the first week and after that it was just a matter of keeping up with the big boys, without any big dips or spikes.
I ended the season at 3300 rating in Wild League and 2363 rating in Modern League. I hardly even played Modern this season, but that will all change next season. 😎
That's why my rating in Wild will reset to 2050 - middle of Gold 3 league, and Modern will reset to 1750 - middle of Silver 1 league.
And now, what we've all been waiting for - EOS rewards! You be the judge if those extra rentals payed off or not.
I got a decent amount of cards with one Legendary, but SPS was sub-par. This will hardly cover the rental expenses.
For the ones that like numbers, I made a financial recap of the whole season.
Income | Amount |
---|---|
DEC earned from rentals | 891.020 |
DEC reward from leaderboards | 10,000.000 |
SPS earned from battles | 344.413 |
SPS earned from chests | 168.368 |
SPS earned from brawls | 375.725 |
SPS earned from tournaments | 166.690 |
Outcome | Amount |
DEC spent on rentals and fees | -9,210.475 |
DEC spent on renting SPS | -2,202.000 |
DEC spent on buying extra energy | -750.000 |
SPS spent on tournament fees | -60.000 |
PROFIT (DEC) | -1,271.455 |
PROFIT (SPS) | 995.196 |
If we convert that SPS I earned to DEC, we can see I have around 26k DEC profit. But since I stake all SPS I earn, I'm actually still spending more DEC then I earn. 🤑
It is so much easier to track your earning now with the new Currency Activity feature in-game, kudos to Splinterlands developer team for making this happen.
I explained how to use this feature, export it to Excel and do the calculations with the data in one of my previous posts. If you missed it, you can find it in the link below:
And finally, for the ones that like to look at the pretty card pictures (like me) I will show you my whole season recap - all 265 of them (68 Diamond EOS, 10 daily Diamond and 177 daily Gold chests combined). 😍
I did get 1 BCX of Life Splinter Legendary Iziar. Just 1 more to get him up to level 3 when he gets that Martyr ability.
Now, here is the recap in numbers:

I participated in six tournaments earlier this month, and only one in this season. And I did miss a couple of them.
Date | Tournament Name | Rules/CardSets | EntryFee | W/L/D(Win%) | Ranking | Rewards |

08.02.24. | Summun Infuria Modern Silver Invitational | Silver/Modern | 4 SPS | 16/5/0 (76%) | 9th | 115,833 SPS |
11.02.24. | Victor's Modern Gold Invitational | Gold/Modern | 6 SPS | 4/7/0 (36%) | 131th | 0,857 SPS |
27.02.24. | Victor's Modern Gold Invitational | Gold/Modern | 6 SPS | 6/4/1 (55%) | 88th | 6 SPS |
I achieved the best result in the Summun Infuria Modern Silver Invitational, where I placed in 9th position and got reward of 115 SPS. But the highlight of that tournament was my win against @ula.ocean, a player who constantly finishes in the leaderboards and tops the tournaments.
My win probably cost her the 1st place in this tournament (sorry 😟), but she got the highest reward, as the top 3 split the best prize. 1st place just gives you the bragging rights, which she has a full bag already. 😄
As you can see, we had a similar line-up, but the decider was my Noa the Just, with his Rust ability which reduced enemy armor, making my attacks more efficient.
Big shout out to @deadzy for making this beautiful splintershare site, where you can see all your chest rewards for last couple of months and easily share it with your fiends and family.
Also, I have to mention guys from @splinterrents. Without their rental service I wouldn't be able to manage my rentals, have time to play AND make awesome blog posts. I highly recommend this service! 👍
Special thanks to @lenonmc21 for giving me advices about the text formatting to make my posts even better. 👌
