I'm aware that the HIVE price is pretty low, the lowest in the last 3 years, but we have to live from something, meaning we have to take profits occasionally and spend it somewhere... As I depend a lot on my crypto earnings, I had to build different income sources inside the crypto ecosystem... All that means, DeFi (liquidity providing), a bit of trading, staking rewards, a bit of airdrop "mining", and of course, stuff on HIVE like content creation and curation...
Having a diversified income portfolio, even in some bad times (bear markets), I'm able to have earnings that I can use for some everyday stuff and spending... The easiest example for that could be HBD interests that you earn by locking up your HBD... Those interests are "paid" in HBD, which is equal to the value of the USD... That means, that even in the bear markets, you have USD income that you can spend, and you can leave your crypto portfolio on the side, waiting for better times to sell... But, that will not be the main topic for the #HHHLive show on Wednesday...

In the 28th episode of the Hive Humpday Hangout, we will talk about the ways to spend your earned HIVE/HBD... The starting question is, of course, Did you spend any of your crypto on something? From that point, we could go deeper into it and if you want to share, we can talk about what it was and how you "funded" the purchase...
For example, I have mentioned in some of my previous posts that I have paid my #HiveFest ticket with my author reward payments in HBD! Yes, it is a digital payment, but still, with that payment, I have paid for the whole event, food, excursions, presentations, etc. As I'm in crypto a bit more than on HIVE, I have spent some of my earnings paying things for my everyday living with different debit (actually they are called "prepaid") cards... My first was a Wirex card, after that, I had a Binance card, and today, I'm using a crypto.com card for paying stuff... They don't have HIVE or HBD as supported coins, but I can exchange them and move funds like that...
So, let's talk about spending money at the moment when crypto doesn't do so well... :) If not about the past purchases, we can talk about some future plans of spending HIVE/HBD, or crypto in general... Also, we can talk about the WAY how you spend your crypto as that is always an interesting topic... We had a similar show, but things are changing and it's nice to have updated information...
Do you pay for things with some crypto cards? Do you exchange crypto for fiat and send it to your bank account? Do you sell crypto for cash? Do you use V4V payments? Or do you pay for goods and services directly in HBD? (that would be great to see happening as much as possible!)
How was it in the last show? We had the first show after the one-month break last week and it was great to hang out with the gang again!
