Hive Fest Is Around the Corner... .:. Walk & Talk Series

The weather is slowly cooling down, which means that it is possible to go out in the daylight to take a walk! During the summer, I had to do my daily walks (very) early in the morning or very late at night... As I was going to sleep very late, getting up in early the morning was almost impossible, so I did my walks at night, and that meant no light for recording Walk & Talk videos... According to the poll that I ran a few months ago, you guys like that kind of content I would like to make them more often, but it was very hard to do them...

Anyway, I got up this morning a bit before 8 AM, it wasn't that hot, so I took my walk where I took this photo that you can see in the thumbnail... Just look at the photo, there is proof for my words about being hot as the heat burnt all the vegetation around... Everything is yellow and very dry... We had rain 2 days ago, but before that, the last time rained was like 3 months ago! 😱

Back to the topic... In the video, I shared my views about the #HiveFest, why I like to attend real-life Hive meetups, and the reasons behind it... You have probably heard me talking about different meetups that I attended, but maybe you need an additional reason to go and attend one... This video is probably for you if you are undecided to go or not... 🙂

If I have time, I hope that I will not forget to record at least one Walk and Talk video from Split, Croatia... 🙂 No promises as usually I forget about everything else when I'm surrounded by cool Hivians... 🙂

Most people who are attending these events don't care too much about the current price of the token... In HF 2022, I saw some people who have Hive accounts, but barely do anything on the chain... They were attending to reconnect with people, which is cool to see... ;)

The dogs wouldn't stop barking on that walk lol. A quite sunny day to do a vlog, and a lonely street. In Nigeria you'll hardly get a quiet place to do a video unless you live in a village.
I think I'll also be ecstatic if I were you about going to Hivefest.

Hehehe... Dogs were just doing their job... Barking to protect their homes... :) The part where I like to walk is outside the town center, and there are mostly orange groves, lemon trees, etc. That's why it is peaceful and lonely... :)

I suck at creating content "on the road"... lol... I doubt that I will have time to create something, but these types of videos could be the best solution... Maybe to do a short recap of the previous day in the morning... Don't know... Will see... lol...

Good luck at HiveFest. I have never been to one and I don't know if I would go to one. I like to stay more or less anonymous but it would be nice to meet and talk with the people on Hive. Good luck on your presentation and I am glad to hear that you aren't as stressed about it.

I really like your Walk & Talk videos especially because I feel like I'm walking and talking next to you again, like we did in Zaragoza. (If another hiver reads this comment, you should know that @ph1102 is just as you see it in his videos!).

Hahahaha... Firstly, thanks for your kind words!

Secondly, it looks like the weather in Split could be cloudy and rainy for almost the whole week, which can't happen in this part of Spain, at this part of the year... 😃 It can rain 1 day, a maximum of 2 here in Alicante/Valencia part, but more than that is almost impossible to happen...
So, Spain could be a good option! Unfortunately, I think that the next year will be somewhere out of Europe...

Too bad you didn't tag the number one fan of this series here. Thank God I didn't miss this post, man! Hivefest was months ago when we first talked about it and now it's here and I won't be able to attend because new job, more work means I have no time. But I started making plans for the next Hivefest to be in Turkey and I will do my best!
