Last night, we experienced a heavy downpour of rain over in my region. I was worried for a while because we had not made any preparations in the past few days. Thankfully, everything is fine and none was damaged because of it.
This morning, I was on my way to the store but then I noticed some of the flowers that fell on the ground. I guess they didn't hold tight from their branches while the rain was at its strongest. Somehow, it caught my attention, and thought that they might look nice in a frame. I tried to look for an angle that would make the picture look dramatic.
I also added an "old photo film effect" as I was editing the photos on my phone to add more emotions to the frame. I think that the raindrops that were stuck on the petals add to the story of sadness that I'm portraying with these images.
During that walk, there were plenty of these flowers that fell onto the ground. Unfortunately, flowers didn't make it through the rain but of course, the tree will be able to bear new flowers and eventually become lush in a few weeks.
It's a good thing that I always have my phone with me so that I can take a photo of the interesting things that I see during my daily activities.
