Hello my friends!
In this sequence of photographs, I bring images of the times I spent in Urubici photographing with my father. This week I'm going back to the city and it made me want to look for photos from when I was there before.
I edited some of these images in color version too and you can see them in my last post.
Urubici is located in the mountains, in a region known as Serra Catarinense, in southern Brazil. The geography and the local climate provide incredible light and wonderful scenery. I remember the last time I went through the city where I lived far from the center, in an area of farms, and every hour of the day I was surprised by changes in lighting.
In fact, the city is a full plate for photographers. On my previous trip I had planned to photograph the snow, but I didn't stay in the most intense cold period of the year and I was unlucky. This time I'm going in the middle of winter and with predictions that this year will be even colder than the previous one. On the other hand, I'm going to work and I'll be staying for two months, so I hope the opportunity arises when I'm not working.
Without more stories, I leave you with some beautiful photographs and wish me luck to bring pictures of the snow in this region of southern Brazil.

Olá meus amigos!
Nesta sequencia de fotografias, trago imagens dos tempos que passei em Urubici fotografando com meu pai. Nesta semana estou voltando para a cidade e me deu essa vontade de buscar as fotos de quando estive por lá anteriormente.
Editei algumas destas imagens em versão colorida também e podem ser vistas no meu ultimo post.
Urubici fica nas montanhas, numa região conhecida como Serra Catarinense, no Sul do Brasil. A geografia e o clima local, propiciam uma luz incrível e cenários maravilhosos. Me recordo da ultima passagem pela cidade em que fiquei vivendo afastado do centro, em uma área de fazendas, e a cada hora do dia era surpreendido por mudanças de iluminação.
Na verdade, a cidade é um prato cheio para fotógrafos. Na minha passagem anterior tinha planejado fotografar a neve, porém não fiquei no período mais intenso de frio do ano e não tive sorte. Desta vez estou indo em pleno inverno e com previsões de que este ano será ainda mais frio que o anterior. Em contraponto, estou indo a trabalho e ficarei dois meses, então espero que a oportunidade se de quando não esteja trabalhando.
Sem mais histórias, os deixo com algumas belas fotografias e me desejem sorte para trazer fotos da neve nesta região do sul do Brasil.
