Hello everyone
I'm here with a delicious chicken recipe.
I cook this chicken dish often. It's an easy and low-calorie dish.
I'm sure you will want to cook this dish after reading the recipe.
A year ago, I switched to a new diet to lose weight. At that time, I often ate chicken. I almost cooked chicken four days a week. I tried different recipes in order not to get bored of eating chicken.
The recipe for this dish, which I will describe in my post today, will be the recipe for my favorite tabuk dish.
I like soft cooked meat. This is the case for both white meat and red meat. That's why I love meat dishes cooked in the form of tandoori.
If you like it that way, this recipe will be great for you too.
Now let's start describing our meal.
The name of the dish that I will describe the recipe for today is Chicken Tandoori.
Chicken Tandoori Recipe
Necessary materials
- A whole chicken
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Salt, pepper, paprika, curry powder, thyme
- Pepper paste
- A glass of water
- A tablespoon of yogurt
- Organic products such as tomato paste, yoghurt and olive oil that I use in my meals. I even made yoghurt and tomato paste myself. That's why my meals are much tastier. If you have the opportunity, I recommend you to do the same.*
Stage One
First we prepare the chicken. When I bought the chicken, I cut it into pieces. So I just wash it. We wash the chickens well.
(I don't know if you guys wash the chicken too, but I always prefer to wash it.)
After washing, we keep the chicken in the strainer so that all the water hangs out.
Second Phase
We prepare the chicken sauce.
For this, we peel the garlic and chop it in a small way. I used 6-7 pieces of garlic. Garlic is definitely the most important ingredient in this sauce.
Add olive oil into a wide and deep bowl. Then add garlic, tomato paste, spices and yoghurt respectively.
Then we mix all the ingredients well.
Third Stage
We put the chicken pieces in the sauce we prepared. Mix well and sauce all the chickens.
My advice to you is to marinate the chicken the night before.
After I sauced the chicken, I kept it in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
* Stage Four*
Put the chickens in a deep pot. Add a teaspoon of water to it and cook it on low heat.
We continue to cook until the plates have absorbed all the water.
Our chicken will be cooked when all the water is gone.
I prepared bulgur pilaf with tomatoes next to my chicken dish. It suits the chicken dish very well both visually and in terms of taste. You can also prepare bulgur pilaf or rice pilaf with your meal.
- If you want, you can cook this dish in a pressure cooker. If you are going to use a pressure cooker, you do not need to add water to the chicken. However, you will need to calculate the cooking time well. You know that food cooks in a much shorter time in a pressure cooker.*
Since the lid of my pressure cooker malfunctioned, this time I also cooked in a steel pot.
Next time I will share the recipe as cooked in a pressure cooker.
