Hello everyone
How are you guys. The weather has warmed up and the summer season has arrived. The knitting season is already over, but I want to share with you the knit cardigan model I knitted for my daughter. Actually, it's been a while since I finished this cardigan. I couldn't find any way to write. Maybe you won't want to knit in the summer, but it's an idea for next year.
I love knitting. I often start knitting something, but it's very rare that I come up with a product.
Finally, I knitted a cardigan for my daughter. I am preparing a post with the rightful pride of having finished the cardigan.
I bought the threads of this cardigan, which I will knit for my daughter, a couple of years ago. Last winter, when I saw the yarns at home, I wanted to knit something. I finally decided to knit this cardigan.
Based on a cardigan model I knitted for my daughter before, I decided to knit a cardigan starting from the collar.
I like the models starting from the collar more and they are easier to knit.
I had two colors of yarn and I started knitting by knitting a collar with the white yarn with the number of stitches appropriate for my daughter's age.
I determined the collar parts and sleeve parts by increasing the loops.
I put the sample named raspberry model on the arm part. I really liked this model. I always wanted to knit a knit in this model. Finally, I used this model in this cardigan.
I knitted the cardigan until I separated the arm parts with white yarn. After separating the arm parts, I first completed the arms with a different needle.
After I finished the sleeves, my job would be much easier. All I had to do now was to knit straight.
I knitted the arms up to the elbow with white yarn and the sections after the elbow with green yarn.
I knitted both arms of the cardigan with the same number of loops.
I knitted thick rubber to the three parts of the arms. That way the arms would look like balloons. This is exactly the model I wanted.
After finishing the sleeves, she came to knit the body part. That's why I love neck start knitting. After finishing the collar and sleeves, all you have to do is knit the body flat.
I wanted the cardigan to be a little longer. It would both warm my daughter much better in cold weather and look much more stylish.
I knitted the body of the cardigan until I ran out of the existing white yarn. Then, I knitted the part of the cardigan that will come to the top of the knee with the green yarn that I used in the sleeve part. It's about a mess.
This is how I finished the cardigan. I liked the color harmony and the model that came out when the knitting was finished.
It fits my daughter very well.
I have always loved the color green. I also loved the harmony of green with white.
How do you think the color and model of the cardigan is beautiful?
