Hi guys, let's go to this week's challenge, the chosen card of the week was Chaos Knight and an excellent card because it can be used in decks with little mana and some exceptions with two tanks in battle, sometimes when there is some rule it can be used too.
Cards I like to combine with Chaos Knight.
Lorna Shine
Summoner: a great card his ability and for quick battles usually when we have few cards and the life of the monsters are low, its power is the sacred shield that consists of not taking even one kind of damage on the first attack received, the ability applies to all cards on the field and works only on the first damage received.
I really like to use this card even being rented and very good, and great to be used when you have little mana in battle and use monsters with melee attack, worth for other cards but the best formation is this at least for me, and can also be combined with shields since it will have the protection of the holy shield and the common shield so can receive two attacks without taking damage in life.
Lorna Shine
Summoner: we have a summoner that contributes nothing to our card of the week but is important for the other cards I decided to put the damage that cards can cause, your ability and grant +1 attack distance.
This summoner does not contribute to the tank but can help a lot in battle because the more damage has on cards the greater the chance of victory, some formations that I like to use especially when there is the rule of explosion then put Chaos Knigh in the second position and can hold enough damage with its ability to reduce attacks.
Chaos Knight
Tank Card: Card has a shield ability that reduces the damage of melee cards and long range cards by half if the damage is 1, the card will not receive damage.
To use this card we have to have some conditions I like to use it when the mana of the match and low or when the rules that allows the use of it in other positions, very good to use when these rules and when the rule of explosion and very last be used in the second position to hold the damage.
Celestial Harpy
Opportunistic card: brought this as an example but wanted to focus on the opportunistic ability, cards with this ability will focus on the enemy monster with less life in battle to focus, and we have one more ability on this card that is the flight that the card has a chance of 25% to escape attacks.
Opportunistic cards are exponent in fights with little mana and are very worthwhile, usually the price of mana is not high, have more than one card with opportunism in battle and very good because you can take cards from the enemy's back line faster in the match.
Pelacor Arbalest
Long Distance Shooter: One of the most important cards of the life deck since its ability to attack twice per round causes a lot of damage in the match.
Very strong card combined with other cards causes a lot of damage in the match, many times we put 4 or even 5 cards with long distance to have a great amount of damage having the additional damage of the Lorna Shine summoner sometimes we can win.
Analysing the game
Battle Rules.
Match rule: No rules in the match.
Amount of mana in the game: 15.
Cards that can be used: All.
Formation of both teams, we can see that the amount of mana in the match was very reduced so for this reason I decided to bring these cards.
Chaos Knight: My card chosen for the first position will be responsible for receiving enemy damage and hold the maximum your position.
Time Mage: Magical card that I put in the second position, great card and has the ability to reduce the attack speed of the enemy team thus giving advantage to the battle and can cause more deviations in the match as it changes the speed of enemy attack.
Celestial Harpy: At last my last card, I put it in this position exactly in case some enemy card comes with sneak, it has the chance to deviate from the attack and gain more time in battle.
We are at the end of the second round with a very well balanced match, we lost a card up to this point but it could have been worse, luckily Time Mage managed to dodge the attack and continue with her initial life, match very tied, the enemy tank card is very strong, if it did not have the ability of thorns we would be very advantageous, but as she has this ability it is complicated every time we hit her we receive 1 damage, luckily we have the shield ability that reduces the damage, otherwise we
End of the match and we can see that we won by a thread, we were lucky to have dodged an attack earlier that for sure gave the victory for this game, we won by counting on luck, it was a great battle.
Conclusion.
A great card that has to be used in certain situations, I like the card very much but it fits only in some formations, the focus of the card in compositions of low mana can be used with some reservations in other types of battle and sometimes as a second tank in battle.
