Art can help develop children's brains to be creative. Strengthen imagination and memory. It gives them self-confidence. Art is another subject in the Thai education curriculum.In each lesson, the teacher will assign work according to various topics for students to use their imagination to create their own work. Today I brought one of my daughter's art works, that are being made to be sent to teacher.

The Steps to create art work
Take a foam sheet and cut it into English letters. (The first letter of nickname) My daughter is letter J.
นำแผ่นโฟมมาตัดเป็นตัวอักษรภาษาอังกฤษ (ตัวแรกของชื่อเล่น) ลูกสาวคือตัว J
Cut cardboard into squares. Make the size fit the size of the letters. Then Glue the letter and place it on cardboard. You can use the future board or any material that you can pick it up. Think of a rubber stamp like that. The letter J is like rubber, Cardboard is like a rubber stamp holder and acrylic colors is like ink.
ตัดกระดาษลังเป็นรูปสี่เหลี่ยม ให้ขนาดพอดีกับตัวอักษร ทากาวที่ตัวอักษรแล้วแปะลงบนกระดาษลัง หรือจะใช้แผ่นฟิวเจอร์บอร์ด หรือวัสดุอะไรก็ได้ที่เราสามารถจับได้ ให้นึกถึงตรายาง ประมาณนั้น
Take 100 pounds of drawing paper and sketch the image you want. Or you can not sketch it. My daughter sketched a star in the middle area of the paper.

Mix acrylic colors in a color palette.
My daughter uses acrylic colors,Because personally, she likes this color the most. She told me the colors were beautiful and bright. No need to mix with water. Dries quickly. Even after the paint dries, it still looks clear and bright. I agree with her reasoning.

Color the letter J foam sheet and stamp it on paper. Create images as you imagine.. I sat and watched her do it. There may be a little bit of color.

My daughter pressed too hard and the letter J fell off the cardboard. She continues to do it. When finished, apply glue and re-stick.

She wanted the background to be blue.
Leave the middle in the shape of a star. According to the pattern she roughly sketched. When finished, use yellow paint on the J foam sheet. and then stamp it on the space left aside. She tried to make it into the star shape she wanted.

Done for the background. She colored a full sheet of paper. It was as she had imagined. Next, Paint white color on the J foam sheet. and stamp it in the center of the yellow star. Use her finger to press all over the letter J. Then lift the foam sheet out. It's finished.
เสร็จเรียบร้อยสำหรับพื้นหลัง เธอลงสีเต็มแผ่นกระดาษ ก็เป็นไปตามที่เธอวาดไว้ในหัว ต่อไปก็ใช้สีขาวทาลงบนแผ่นโฟมตัวJ และพิมพ์ลงตรงกลางดาวสีเหลืองเลยค่ะ เป็นอันเสร็จเรียบร้อย
The last step is fixing the letter J that she had knocked off a piece of cardboard. She glued it on and pasted it on the same piece of cardboard. Finally, decorate it beautifully. There will be 2 pieces of art work sent to the teacher
ขั้นตอนสุดท้ายก็ ซ่อมแซมตัวพิมพ์ที่หลุด เธอก็ทากาวแล้วแปะลงบนแผ่นกระดาษลังอันเดิม ท้ายสุดก็ตกแต่ง ให้สวยงาม ได้เป็นผลงานส่งคุณครู 2 ชิ้น
