Happy Tuesday (ideally happy Monday, but today is Tuesday), friends of the Plant Power (vegan) community, here
! We are back again with an edition of Meatless Monday, but today is Tuesday... the connection yesterday did not allow this edition, but we are back to celebrate those good vegan recipes, which have been published during the last 7 days, and that enrich our menus.
As always, I want to take advantage of this publication, to ask all those who make life in our community, to take into account the topics that can be published here, being these:
- Experiences with a vegan diet.
- Ethics of animal agriculture.
- How to grow a kitchen garden for your plant based food.
- The best herbs and spices to have in a vegan kitchen.
- Meat free Mondays - why they're a good idea.
We wanted to emphasize the importance of only using original content. I remind you that we do NOT accept photos or text from third parties, even if they are copyright free. We also remind them of the importance of not including animal products in their recipes, such as butter, eggs, honey, etc., the idea is that they share vegan recipes.
Also, it is important that you use the hashtag #plantbased #vegan. And we invite you to join the voting path, because every day we try to bring a little love to those valuable posts that are on the platform, no matter if they are not about food, it can be any other content, except those topics that oppose veganism.
We would also like to announce that as of today we will reimburse part of the profits derived from the delegations, based on the weekly healing rewards obtained. We are very grateful for the great trust and support of our delegates.
Today we start our gastronomic route... upside down, hahahaha, we start with dessert with a palm sugar tart, which we will accompany with a delicious cremolada, then we will grill a delicious Vegan Provolone, to complement a green curry with vegan chicken, and finish with a sweet yellow rice and another delicious raw vegan superfood tart; all this will be excellent for our palate, our health, and at the same time we will express love to our Mother Earth. Let's start our vegan gastronomic route today, let's go for it!
If anyone knows Indonesian cuisine well, it's
@aswita. She always brings to our community, good recipes from her country, with tradition and roots; and today's recipe is no exception, as we will share a talam cake, or palm sugar cake, which has as a base ingredient glutinous rice, with a top of coconut milk with palm sugar that brings a lot of color and flavor. Let's get to know this traditional dessert.
Peru is a country with a wide gastronomy, product of the fusion of peoples that have populated it throughout the centuries. Thus, we can find dishes of all kinds, and drinks as well. And a very traditional, nutritious, refreshing and super delicious drink, is the one that
@nellyhope brought us with his recipe for Peruvian Strawberry Cremolada, something really extraordinary, that just seeing the photos makes our mouths water. Let's get to know this super recipe!
According to
@ela.muds a barbecue doesn't have to be limited to vegans. This is especially important in Argentina, the country where she lives, and which has a very rooted gastronomic culture oriented to barbecues; and thinking about it, she has shared with us a great recipe for Vegan Provoleta, to make it grilled, that well grilled and crispy, will make your mouth water. Let's see this fabulous recipe!
Taking some license from time to time regarding the use of processed ingredients, should not be a problem or cause for criticism, since we do not always have access to fresh and natural ingredients, as often the climatic conditions of the places we live, hinders their production and access. And this is what
@carolynstahl's post is about, who brings a delicious curry dish with vegan chicken, which will be the star of any meal. She also makes some interesting reflections on the intolerance from other people, which in many occasions we have to face because of the rejection towards veganism. Let's get to know this extraordinary recipe and this great post!
Gastronomy has always been a reflection of people, their culture and their religion, and we can see it in the excellent post that
@umirais has shared in our community this week, where she tells us about a traditional Indonesian dish, with Muslim roots, which is offered when children finish reading the holy book of Alquran. It is a way of giving thanks for this event, and it is yellow sticky rice, a delicious dessert that is shared among family members. Let's get to know this traditional and important recipe!
The precious grandchildren of
@lenasveganliving recently had their birthday, and she wanted to treat them with a wonderful raw vegan cake, whose theme was Super Mario Bross. Through a detailed and elegant post, she shows us how to make this delicious and particular cake, which requires making each of its components separately, with a spectacular and delicious final result. Let's get to know this unique recipe!
