When some time ago my girlfriend had just arrived in Lhokseumawe City, I invited her to have dinner. Even though it was already 9 pm Western Indonesia time, we went together to one of the restaurants in the city of Lhokseumawe. A restaurant that is already popular with local residents, including those who often advertise their restaurant brand on local radio.
"Burger Blepot" that's the name of this restaurant, a restaurant located in the Banda Sakti area, Jl. New Ocean, Keude Aceh, Kec. Banda Sakti, Lhokseumawe City, Aceh. The area is not far from the main causeway downtown Lhokseumawe. If from the direction of the entrance to the city, you can go to the 4th intersection (hourly intersection) and turn right onto the road in front of the Suzuya mall.
This restaurant is almost at the end of the road leading to the bus terminal, or not far from one of the hospitals in the area. It's easy to find on the left side of the road, moreover they put the name of the shop in a big pamphlet in front of the shop. This provides easy access for everyone to find this food restaurant.
In this restaurant, one of the popular foods is Burger, they have a special sauce called "Blepot" sauce. this is a sauce with a special blend that is made to be more delicious and melted. In every food menu available at this restaurant, it is always served with this sauce.
At first glance, if we look at it, this sauce seems to be a concoction of a mixture of red chilies and tomatoes cooked with a mixture of other menus that looks so secret. When I took a closer look, it seems that they also mix the eggs into the sauce which is cooked with other special seasonings. Every time they serve food, this sauce is always served, and they give a lot of sauce.
Each serving of the food menu will look more distinctive with lots of sauce until it melts and mixes evenly in the food section. These sauces are so different from other restaurants in the city, and they really have a unique texture and taste. When we had dinner at this restaurant, we ordered french fries, fried rice, and also some delicious spaghetti.
They provide various foods such as rice, seafood, and snacks such as french fries, nuggets, sausages, burgers, and various fresh drinks such as fruit juice. There are also mineral drinks and sachets that you can order, such as milo, lemo tea. One of my favorite drinks is coconut jelly, coconut that has been cooked and mixed with jelly powder.
Basically, all types of food served here look the same. But the mainstay of this restaurant is that they have a delicious signature sauce that melts all over the food. See how the food we ordered looked like when it was for dinner.
This fried rice looks simple, fried rice mixed with red seasoning which consists of spices such as chilies, shallots, garlic, and tomatoes so that this rice looks red. They serve it with fried egg, tomato slices, cucumber slices and mustard leaves. What is special about this dish is the addition of delicious Blepot sauce, which can be stirred in this rice or mixed into fried eggs.
This is a simple display of spaghetti, they use regular type of spaghetti made from wheat with a soft texture and easy to chew. This spaghetti with a distinctive yellow color has been boiled in the chef's kitchen. At the top it appears to be spiked with melted mozzarella and mayonnaise sauce that makes this food look so tempting.
Meanwhile, these fried potatoes look so delicious with a yellow color because they have been cooked in the frying process. These potatoes are cut and have their own individual shape, like a jagged appearance. These potatoes have a crunchy and tasty texture, they also add a plate of sauce to eat with these fries.
They also have friendly and responsive waiters in providing services to customers. The price for one portion of the menu at this restaurant is priced at affordable prices, starting from IDR 10K to IDR 30K. Basically, all the food looks normal and simple, but they rely on the restaurant's special sauce. I really enjoy the menu offerings at this restaurant.
